Did this tour on a day of torrential rain, which could easily have ruined it. Clara kept the group’s spirits up and never let the weather dictate the mood. She gave us a solid overview of Cusco’s food culture — the stops were well chosen and well sequenced, and included places we’d never have found on our own. Good value and worth doing.
Carla was so good! Great variety of dishes we got to try.
Excellent variety of foods, all of high quality. Generous portions, but not too much. My pescatarian wife was very happy with her substitutions. Good information both on food and the area and culture more generally. Carla was first-rate.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the variety and quality of the food, and that the portions were just right. It's especially great to know your wife appreciated the pescatarian substitutions—we always strive to accommodate our guests' dietary preferences. We'll be sure to share your kind words with Carla, who will be thrilled to know she made your experience so memorable. We hope to welcome you both back for another culinary adventure in Peru! 🇵🇪😊

Our food tour with Carla was incredible and will likely be a highlight of our trip. Carla was extremely knowledgeable and taught us so much about Cusco and Peru. We got to try a wide variety of food with the perfect portion sizes, although definitely go into it hungry!! Excellent value for money with the amount of time, food and essentially walking tour of the city. DO IT!

Today I joined the Gastronomic Tour in Cusco with our guide, Carla, and it was absolutely incredible. The food was delicious, I learned so much about Peruvian cuisine, and the group dynamic made the experience even more enjoyable. At first, it seems like you'll be eating a lot, but the portions are perfectly sized. Between each stop, you take a walk, which gives you time to digest and makes room for the next tasting. They also serve digestive teas and drinks along the way, so you never feel overly full. Carla is a fantastic guide who shares plenty of interesting facts about Peruvian cuisine and culture. She creates a relaxed and fun atmosphere, and the tour never feels rushed. If you're visiting Cusco, I highly recommend this tour. It's a wonderful way to discover the city's food scene while learning about the local culture. :-)

My partner and I honestly had the best time with Carla on our food tour in Cusco. The Andean dishes and drinks were unique, diverse and well sequenced.
So glad you and your partner had such a great time! Carla is wonderful and will love hearing this. Hope to see you back in Peru someday 🙏
I had a wonderful time on this food tour! I booked it solo and got to meet great people who were so fun to spend the evening with. Carla was a knowledgeable, friendly, and personable tour guide. She answered all our questions and then some! She navigated us through the busy city center during the June celebrations. The spots she chose were delicious - I especially loved the ceviche restaurant and tamale stand she brought us too. Everything went smoothly and we got a good walk and dinner in :) would definitely recommend.
Thank you so much! Carla is one of our very best and she'll love hearing this. Navigating the Historic Center during the June festivities is no small feat, so we're glad it all felt seamless. The ceviche spot and the tamale stand are personal favorites of ours too – always great to know they land well with guests. Hope to see you back in Lima someday. ¡Buen provecho!
