Small group of 6 people. Our guide was very informative about the island and ways of island life. The walk was very gentle. My wife and I thought it was one of the best we have done
The guide was very young and her knowledge of old town Madeira was amazing and very helpful to know your way around Funchal
A very nice tour. The guide gave a very good overview of many parts of Funchal. He also shared nice historical information and tips on other museums and sites to see in the city.
The walking tour was a wonderful way to start my trip to Funchal. I was able to learn a bit about the city’s history and get my bearings in the community.
Our guide, Eleanor, was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Madeira and the key buildings in Funchal. She was also very helpful with providing us on our first visit to Madeira with useful information on how to get around using the local bus service and giving us good recommendations for shopping and eating. Highly recommended.
Our guide Ileana was very informative and very friendly. There was only four of us on the tour which was good. We had plenty of time to understand everything we needed to know. A very good tour
