Você começará em frente ao segundo maior edifício administrativo do mundo, o Palácio do Parlamento, que faz parte do último projeto comunista megalomaníaco.
Parte da cidade velha foi quase demolida para dar lugar ao novo Boulevard da Vitória Socialista.
Inspirado na Ópera Garnier de Paris, este lugar está ligado ao início da democracia na Roménia, mas também ao início do movimento comunista.
Construído durante a década de 1980, parte da avenida Vitória Socialista, este marco é hoje uma maravilha com suas Fontes Dançantes.
Considerado o símbolo do antigo regime, este local foi abandonado durante a era comunista.
A Roménia foi o único país do bloco comunista que terminou numa revolução sangrenta, a maioria das vítimas foram baleadas nesta praça.
Actualmente Museu Nacional de Arte, este local funcionou como residência de inverno da família real romena, mas durante os primeiros anos do comunismo tornou-se o Palácio da República e um edifício protocolar.
Um dos edifícios mais representativos de Bucareste, orgulhosamente o imprimimos na nota de 5 lei.
O edifício principal desta praça era o Comité Central do Partido Comunista, onde Nicolae Ceausescu realizou o seu último discurso perante o povo romeno.

We had a wonderful trip together with our guide Daniel… you could tell he is extremely passionate about the topic and answered all our questions with expertise. We would definitely recommend this trip if you want to get a real understanding and a nuanced image of communism and its rise and fall in Roumania and what it has meant to the Romanian people… Eye-opening!

Daniel was a wonderful guide: passionate, funny, very knowledgeable about the past and present of his country. The tour was amazing and our guide was really really great. His name. His name is Daniel and he’s very knowledgeable about history and you can see. He has a passion for it.. he was also very gracious and helped us when we were hit by a terrible storm in the middle of the tour. He helped us cover and protect ourselves from falling trees. We had an absolutely amazing tour with Daniel and cannot recommend him enough. He was incredibly attentive to the needs of the group and always made sure everyone was engaged and enjoying the experience. What we especially loved was how interactive he made the tour. He showed us photos and videos of the historical events he talked about, which made everything so much more interesting and memorable. You can immediately tell that Daniel is truly passionate about what he does and his enthusiasm is contagious. We were genuinely impressed and would recommend every group to ask for Daniel.
