I would have given this 5 stars but our tour was changed to an early time (not golden hour) and for whatever reason we were no longer able to go to the colosseum floor due to what was called logistic reasons. They did add on the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill. Our tour guide did a good job.

Mary was our tour guide for the coliseum and she was absolutely fantastic. Our party of 3 noticed how attentive she was to the needs of the group at every turn. She clearly has a passion for her beautiful city and its history. She was warm, genuine and went above and beyond what we would have expected. We paid attention to other tour guides as we mingled in the crowds and her caring presence made her stand out compared to the other guides we heard. Had the guided tour today with Eugene. Fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and gave us a real insight into all the different parts of the colosseum and surrounding areas.
