Campbell River: passeio de caiaque e observação de baleias

We did this trip as part of a family holiday to Canada in July and I cannot recommend it highly enough. We went to Campbell River specifically to do this trip and we weren't disappointed! Our guides were lovely, helpful and very knowledgeable - Laura was our kayak guide but I am afraid I cannot remember the name of our other guide! But they were both amazing! We were lucky and saw whales from the boat and also had an excellent kayak tour and learnt a lot about the smaller animals living in the inlets. We saw sea lions, seals, sea stars, sea urchins and sea cucumbers. Another highlight was lunch! All the food they provide is made locally and packaged sustainably. The packed lunch was excellent and there were also handmade flapjacks and coffee provided. I would highly recommend this trip.

We had an amazing day on Wild 1. We saw humpback whales and seals . The kayaking was brilliant as was the guide. A shout out to Jarek our captain who was fantastic and so enthusiastic all day . Thankyou for the experience.

Did the kayaking and whale watching tour in July 2026. The guides Tyler and Laura were awesome. Friendly and knowledgeable. We saw lots of wildlife and a humpback that was having a great time for a long time. Equipment was great and lunch was yummy. Highly recommend.

Great experience, the tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The small size of the tour group made it even more enjoyable.

Tyler enabled us to spectacular orca and humpback whale sightings + Carla accompanied us with the kayaks, showed us starfish, etc. An all-round successful excursion with expert accompaniment, ... thank you, great guides!

The photos include one that suggests you will be kayaking in an area where bears live. However, this is not the case, the guide said so.

This was a fabulous day out….. Geoff and Steve were fantastic guides and made a huge effort to track whales (saw 4), seals, lots of big birds (all sorts) and sea lions. Lunch was great on the back of the boat with home prepped picnic. I’d highly recommend Campbell River Whale adventures for a professional set up and great boats and good kayaks. Loved it.

I loved the combination of kayaking and the whale watching very much and everything was prepared very well. We were very lucky with the weather, the whales and in the kayaks we saw a lot of harbour seals. Many thanks to our guides who did a very good job.

Well organised and nice tour. Captain Martin and Kayak Manager Steve, were very well prepared and always friendly and helpful. The lunch on board was really good as were all the snacks served. Very nice 3 hours kayaking in absolute peace! The only downside of the Tour was not seeing the sea lions and eagles fishing (and a few bears on the shore 😓), but you can't see everything. It is perhaps not a Tour I would recommend to photographers, who like us want to capture some of the Canadian wildlife, but it is still a very enjoyable and at the same time relaxing Tour. Thank you!

The views were incredible. We saw sea lions, orcas and multiple humpbacks, as well as star fish etc. The guides Zoe & Quinn were extremely informative and hospitable. I would do this experience again in a heartbeat and would even do a longer expedition next time.
