Este passeio a pé é de cerca de 4 horas no total, longe da azáfama da cidade grande de Osaka. Você pode apreciar a natureza sazonal enquanto caminha. É cerca de 30 minutos de Osaka pelo trem na linha Hankyu. Monte Minoo um grande parque monumental, “Mino Park”, que tem uma linda cachoeira, “Cachoeira Minoo” que foi selecionada como uma das melhores cachoeiras do Japão. Em torno da cachoeira você pode desfrutar de vários cenários ao longo das quatro estações do verde fresco na primavera, até as belas folhas de outono no outono. O Minoo Park foi designado como um parque quase nacional em 11 de dezembro de 1967 como um dos projetos comemorativos do 100 º ano da Meiji. Um tesouro de habitats naturais de cerca de 1.300 tipos de plantas, 3.500 insetos, muitos pássaros selvagens, mamíferos, anfíbios, répteis, peixes, etc. cercam o parque. O monumento natural especial, a salamandra japonesa, também habita a área montanhosa de Minoo.

O Minoo Park foi designado como um parque quase nacional em 11 de dezembro de 1967 como um dos 100 anos do projeto comemorativo Meiji. "Ryuanji" tem sido o ponto central das cachoeiras desde os tempos antigos. Aqui existe um dojo onde o treinamento montanhoso costumava ser realizado. Os sacerdotes da montanha se reúnem aqui em todo o país em abril, julho e novembro para um ritual especial de sacrifício. "Benzaiten", o deus da riqueza, está consagrado no salão principal do templo e é considerado o mais antigo das Sete Deidades do Japão de boa sorte.
"Cachoeira Minoo" é a cachoeira mais recomendada de Osaka no Japão. A grande cachoeira tem uma largura de 5 metros e altura de 33 metros. A grande queda cria uma vista impressionante na base, onde a água cai na sua frente com uma cor branca. A água que flui rapidamente das paredes das rochas tem uma quantidade impressionante de força. A maneira como a superfície da água se dobra ao atingir rochas salientes é muito misteriosa. Ao se aproximar da cachoeira, você pode deixar os sons da água espirrando e os ventos enviarem íons negativos por todo o corpo.

Naoko, our guide, was exceptional in so many ways. First, she was very accommodating on the starting schedule when the weather turned rainy. She lead a leisurely nature walk to the shrine & waterfall, and pointed out features & wildlife that we would have missed. Being a local, she was also able to educate us on Japanese culture including the wabi sabi spirit, filial piety, haiku, and day-to-day life. We really enjoy her company. This tour is the highlight of our Osaka visit.

We had a wonderful time doing this hike with Yukari. Number one, she was an absolute sweetheart. She was very knowledgeable on the history of Japan, the town, and the waterfall. She also gave us suggestions for the rest of our trip through other cities. The hike to the waterfall was a trek but definitely worth it. We highly recommend this tour if you want to go outside of the big city and immerse yourself in nature!

What a scenic and beautiful park. The hike was peaceful and filled with picturesque views throughout the journey to the waterfall. Our guide was excellent! She was friendly, her English was excellent and contributed to such a joy-full experience.

It was a great tour - beautiful nature, fresh environment, and Ms Naoko Fukunishi was an excellent tour guide. Unfortunately, the leaves haven’t changed their green color. We wish we could come one month later to enjoy the autumn foliage.

I had an amazing time with Naoko as my tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, well prepared and extremely kind and friendly. The nature was beautiful and the sights are breathtaking. I highly recommend stopping by the insect museum - the butterfly dome was simply magical. Don’t hesitate is you are looking for something out of the ordinary in Osaka area.
