A Coleção Heidi Horten é O museu de arte moderna e pop no coração histórico de Viena. KLIMT ⇄ WARHOL A exposição permanente do museu apresenta pinturas, desenhos e esculturas de altíssima qualidade que tocam a mente e o coração. Obras-primas de Klimt, Bacon, Baselitz, Basquiat, Chagall, Haring, Klee, Lichtenstein, Magritte, Picasso, Warhol e muitos outros irão surpreendê-lo! ANIMALIA até 30 de agosto de 2026 A Coleção Heidi Horten apresenta uma exposição que é instigante e, ao mesmo tempo, comovente. Animalia mostra quão próxima é a relação entre humanos e animais e como vemos os animais de maneiras diferentes: como amigos, como símbolos, como animais de fazenda ou como uma superfície de projeção para nossos próprios sentimentos. Com mais de 90 obras de artistas como Chagall, Hirst, Jermolaewa, Lassnig, Lichtenstein, Marc, Oppenheim e Warhol, Animalia convida à reflexão. Por meio de perspectivas estimulantes e muitas vezes surpreendentes, revela o que significa ser humano.

As obras-primas internacionais de Basquiat, Chagall, Fontana, Haring, Klee, Klein, Klimt, Lichtenstein, Magritte, Matisse, Miró, Picasso, Warhol e muitos outros irão surpreendê-lo! Expressionismo experimental: Schiele encontra Nosferatu 11 de abril a 31 de agosto de 2025 Esta exposição especial combina obras-primas do expressionismo alemão e austríaco com a estética dos primórdios do cinema mudo. Para além de obras importantes de Kirchner, Nolde, Pechstein, Schiele e muitos outros, são apresentados cartazes de filmes, fotografias e sequências de filmes de clássicos como "O Gabinete do Dr. Caligari", "Nosferatu" e "Metropolis". Esta combinação dá vida a todo o espetro artístico desta época.

So disappointing. Only a fragment of an exceptional collection, exhibited on one floor, without curatorial concept. major pieces missing and two floors used for an extremely average temporary collection about animals in the art. Never again
Thank you very much for taking the time to review your visit to the Heidi Horten Collection. Our aim is to make every visit to our museum both inspiring and enriching. On the ground floor, our permanent exhibition KLIMT – WARHOL presents around 50 masterpieces from our own collection, guiding visitors through key developments in 20th-century art. Works by artists such as Gustav Klimt, Francis Bacon, Marc Chagall, Damien Hirst, Yves Klein, Joan Miró, Max Pechstein, Pablo Picasso, Mark Rothko, and Andy Warhol invite a deeper engagement with this period. In our temporary exhibition Animalia, shown on the first and second floors, we feature approximately 90 significant works that explore the complex relationship between humans and animals. Through drawings, paintings, and sculptures by artists including Georg Baselitz, Marc Chagall, Anna Jermolaewa, François-Xavier Lalanne, Maria Lassnig, Roy Lichtenstein, Meret Oppenheim, and Pablo Picasso, the exhibition reflects on the social, cultural, and historical dimensions embedded in animal representations. Our complimentary audio guide, available in German, English, and Italian, is designed to support an accessible and engaging experience of the exhibitions. Many visitors describe their time at the museum as thought-provoking and enriching. We very much appreciate sharing your experience with us. The exhibition "The Line" is simply magnificent. The museum staff very friendly. Even if we got too close to a work of art, it was reacted to with humor.O TON : " MAY I PRESENT THE ARTWORK TO YOU?" If you listened to the museum educators, you could not escape the amazement. Appreciation and respect were as important as enthusiasm and desire for cultural mediation. I know about the historical background of the house nevertheless I want to rate the experience as simply awesome. THANK YOU

Very well put together, interestingly connected with the companies of the 20s, an extraordinary experience. I bought the annual ticket right away because there are so many short-term top events organized. The location is also very good next to Opera and Albertina, public or on foot/bike/scooter extremely easily accessible

It is an important collection of contemporary art, with spaces also for educational workshops. In classical (but not only, think Hunterwasser, the Secesse) an element of less conventional art.
