Bandung Volcano Sightseeing and Hot Spring Tour Privado

Robbie has been an excellent guide, and such a lovely person. He led us along breathtaking spots, and his information was of inestimable value. Highly recommended: 5 stars well deserved!

We organised a day trip with a private driver to visit the Bandung volcano and after that visited the NuArt sculpture gallery in Bandung. We were in Bandung during the post Ramadan holiday period so Bandung was very busy with Indonesian families on holiday. Our driver Ceci was excellent - she was a very good driver, spoke good English and was fun and entertaining. The volcano crater was exactly as described in thousands of reviews and was a very touristed spot with many vendors selling local handicrafts. The NuArt sculpture museum was brilliant and I cannot recommend visiting this place enough - the sculptures are amazing but the gardens and restaurant out of the Bandung traffic was an oasis made in heaven. Even if you just go for a milkshake and sit in the shade of the garden restaurant you will thank me but the sculptures really are amazing for all ages and tastes.

Overall, the trip was good and we enjoy it. The driver was accommodating and followed our suggestions. He took us to the main attractions at our own pace. We finished the northern attractions (Tangkuban Parahu and Orchid Forest) earlier than expected and decided to visit the southern area (Kawah Putih). Although it required an extra payment, the driver was willing to take us there. He was also a good photographer and briefly explained the attractions we visited. The cafés he recommended for our stops were nice as well. He had a good attitude, was helpful, and was willing to make short stops whenever we needed to buy water. However, there was one unpleasant aspect during the trip: the condition of the car. It was an old Nissan Lavina, and the interior was a bit dusty and rusty. The biggest issue was that the engine didn’t seem powerful enough for uphill roads, and we had to turn off the air conditioning when going uphill. This was disappointing because, given the tour price, we expected a better vehicle. Even a typical city Grab taxi would have been in much better condition than the car we were provided.

Our tour operator for the day was Robby, a friendly and helpful guide who accompanied us throughout the trip. He assisted us with communication, was very punctual and flexible with our schedule. There were no hidden costs at all. Highly recommended for everyone!

We had a fantastic day in Bandung with Robbi as our guide. He was extremely professional and shared detailed explanations of every place we visited, as well as the buildings and landmarks we passed along the way. Robbi was also very flexible and thoughtfully tailored the day trip to suit exactly what we wanted to see. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bandung!

Roby was awesome! He's struggling and offering a lot of different things. We talked about different cultural issues, it was very interesting.

This was a good tour. Our tour guide Robbie was patient and informative. We didn't get get to cover Pangkuban Perahu cos it was much further away. The rest of the tour was a great experience.

To view the craters on site is much more beautiful than photos. Out tour guide Robbie was good and cautious with our needs. He was very informative and patient. Too bad there was not enough time to cover Pangkuban Perahu as it was further away probable because we started our tour late.
