Somos o único centro multicultural de dança e artes de Maui, oferecendo uma maneira convidativa de vivenciar a herança do Havaí. Esta aula é voltada para iniciantes de todas as idades e é uma aula divertida e amigável, ministrada por nossos instrutores altamente experientes, que acolhe todos, visitantes e kama 'aina e todas as idades. Você sairá sabendo mais sobre a hula e a história da hula. As aulas no Wonderful World of Aloha também incluem entrada gratuita para nossas galerias exclusivas "Migrations", que apresentam a história dos séculos de migrações para o Havaí por meio de trajes de dança, implementos e instrumentos.

This was such a fun experience to do together as family! We had a very large family reunion group made up of all ages, and it was engaging for all of us, ages 3-88! The instructor gave a brief explanation of hula and was clear with her instructions and calls as we danced, so it was a successful experience for all of us! We walked around the side rooms after our class and checked out the cool displays of traditional cultural outfits and instruments!
We had the best time today with our extended family- 14 people ranging from 4-88 years old! Our teacher was so fun and the dance we learned made us feel the true Hawaiian spirit. Even my 12 year old grandson who doesn’t like much of anything loved it! I highly recommend it!!

Well worth the experience! The teacher was well organized and demonstrated great. It was awesome to actually learn a song and its meaning. Loved it!

Our hula lesson at the Oni Cultural Center was FANTASTIC! My friend and I had a 1 hour lesson that was very reasonably priced and conducted in a bright, clean environment. Instructor Kalai was engaging and encouraging. She included information about the history of Hawaiian dance and the meaning of the movements she taught us. Touring the "Migrations" exhibit and seeing the various regalia and instruments of the Hawaiian and neighboring islands was an added bonus! Would do it again in a heart beat! This was such a great cultural experience. The museum dresses are beautiful without being too overwhelming (can do in about 30 minurts, a little longer if you read everything). Our instructor was wonderful, dance is taught at a level that anyone (from 5 to 99 years of age) can enjoy. My five year old was engaged the whole time and better understands the talent of the hula dancers we have seen and my husband said it "broke his brain in a good way" figuring out what look like basic steps. I would highly recommend.

Amazing experience. We had a ton of fun and the dance was explained along with the lyrics. It was a treat to learn the culture and really walked away with an appreciation and understanding of the dance

Brought my daughter in law with my two granddaughters. It was a great class! We loved the lesson!!! Super fun! (Our instructor was FABULOUS! Then we went to watch the hula performance at the Wailea to watch our instructor perform. That was amazing too! If you’re in wailea on a Tuesday, highly recommend the performance! Impressive!

I highly recommend taking a class or two or three or more with the Oni Foundation. I learned so much in a one-hour hula lesson, and then came back and made a bracelet! I'm hoping to return for more classes before I leave.

The instructor was very welcoming and gave clear guidance in dance steps. The studio had a mirrored wall so I could see the instructor and myself, which was helpful.
