Visitaremos os edifícios e locais mais importantes que definem a história e a arquitetura do centro da Cidade do México, que, até o final do século XIX, era a cidade inteira. Parece loucura, mas no mesmo distrito. encontraremos edifícios tão diferentes de muitas épocas e estilos: mexica, barroco novohispano, neoclassicismo, ecletismo/porfiriano, art nouveau, art déco/streamline e, claro, o movimento muralista, que fundiu arquitetura e pintura. Podemos nos deparar com alguns personagens como grifos, gárgulas, serpentes, cobras, águias e até sereias que têm muito a dizer sobre o que é a Cidade do México.

Our guide Raul kept our interest, as he is so informative regarding the historical background of the amazing architecture in central Mexico City. His knowledge about not only the structures, but the history surrounding the buildings made us feel more inspired to learn more about the history of Mexico City. If you are able to have Raul as your guide, you are fortunate. You will be inspired, and also be fortunate to discover a number of hidden gems in this amazing city.

Raul was fantastic. We did this on our first day, as our first activity, in Mexico City. He’s extremely thorough and insightful, and gave us a great foundation of background info on both pre and post Spanish Mexico. I feel so much better primed for my trip to the anthropology museum because of it. Price was extremely good for the information and experience it got. Raul was amazing in so many ways! He communicated with us prior to our tour and was most gracious with waiting for us due to our going to the wrong meeting location. His tour explains so much of the history and architecture of Mexico City. We had been to a few of the locations before but didn’t know the history or background of them. His tour will explain all. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to know and see more of this amazing city!
