Chef Luke made this tour amazing! Took us all over Anchorage. The food was amazing. Especially the smoked salmon, ice cream, and pasties. He is a native so he has so much knowledge. Saw lots of wildlife as well

We had a good morning (8:00-12:00) tour with Luke. He was very knowledgeable about Anchorage and very entertaining. The tour provided a pretty good balance between food tasting and sightseeing. The first food stop provided a very large serving. I would have preferred smaller portions, more sample size in order to add one or two more tastings. The tour did serve as an overview of Anchorage and gave us ideas for planning our time there.

Luke did a great job with fun facts and great historical facts.
We met our guide Luke at our pickup spot along with other tour members. There were about 8 of us in total. The tour started around 12:30 so do not eat anything as there will be plenty of good food along the way. Luke is also a chef so he has insider knowledge of where the good food is located. He was also born in Alaska so he has the experiences that create wonderful stories about the places we visited and the foods we were eating. Luke is very engaging with a good sense of humor and we all enjoyed the commentary and the food.

Chef Luke’s food/sightseeing tour was exceptional. Luke is literally larger than life — a big guy, huge funny personality, and a fount of stories. There is absolutely no way my wife and I would have found these wonderful restaurants if not for this tour. The food was amazing (what a breakfast sandwich! And the salmon tacos. . . ) and we received great recommendations on gifts, other restaurants and other points of interest. Don’t forget to make him sound out his one of a kind moose call. Highly recommended.
We had a day to kill in Anchorage before our redeye back home and spending the day with our guide (and co-owner of the company) Chris was well worth it. We had our choice of 5-7 different places to stop. He took us to some great local eateries that we wouldn’t have found otherwise. Not only was the food we partook in of the great comfort variety, but it was comforting knowing we were supportibg locally run businesses. As we ate, Chris shared fun facts and stories about each establishment as well as Alaskan lore (be sure to ask him about his bear encounter). You can’t go wrong with this tour of Anchorage!

We had a fantastic time on the Sightseeing & Food Tour! Luke, our guide and an Alaska native, shared so much interesting history and local knowledge about Anchorage and his beautiful home state. His passion for Alaska really made the tour engaging and enjoyable. He also introduced us to several fun and delicious local eateries that we may not have found on our own. The van was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned, making for a relaxing ride between stops. If you’re looking for a great way to see Anchorage, learn about the area, and enjoy some tasty local food, I highly recommend this tour!
