Este é um dia de descoberta e história! A nossa rota segue caminhos menos percorridos, dando-lhe uma visão perspicaz do passado e do presente de Portugal. Viajamos para a cidade de Silves. Aqui há tempo para visitar a impressionante catedral e passear pelas ruas estreitas (taxas de entrada não incluídas). Daqui continuamos a nossa subida à Serra de Monchique. Visitaremos a encantadora vila termal das Caldas de Monchique, com nascentes de comprovadas propriedades medicinais. Seguindo a estrada sinuosa, chegamos ao ponto mais alto do Algarve – Fóia – com 902m acima do nível do mar. Descendo depois a partir da Fóia, atravessando o campo e parando na pequena aldeia de Marmelete onde terá tempo para almoçar num dos restaurantes locais (incluído). Após o almoço seguimos direto para a Costa Vicentina, para visitar algumas praias magníficas. Então é para o 'fim do mundo' - Cape St. Vincent. Passagem por Sagres, típica vila piscatória e o seu abrigado porto de pesca.

Continuamos nossa subida às montanhas de Monchique, um refúgio de colinas verdes e ondulantes, sobreiros majestosos e pungentes bosques de eucaliptos.
Ficando a 902m acima do nível do mar. As vistas aqui são dramáticas e o ar incrivelmente puro.
Visite algumas praias magníficas, onde você pode ter tempo para passear, tirar fotos excelentes, relaxar e apreciar a vista.
Depois, chegamos ao "fim do mundo" - a cidade de Sagres - famosa casa da Escola de Navegação Prince Henry. Em Cape St. Vincent (o ponto mais ao sudoeste da Europa), um pequeno farol fica no topo das falésias e desafia os elementos. Respire o revigorante ar do mar e maravilhe-se com a vastidão da paisagem.

Great experience with our extraordinary guide Vasco, a chatterbox (French and German top-notch), possessing enormous knowledge on many different subjects related to this superb region. Visit to different remarkable sites (west coast, mountains, Silves castle, ...), embellished with a typical meal. The only downside would be the very long time in the car compared to the visits. Despite this, we would do it again with pleasure with this top-notch guide Vasco. Thank you Vasco for your good humor and your kindness.

What an amazing day! This tour took us from the mountain tops in the Monchique Mountains to the most southwestern part of Europe in Sagres and Cabo De San Vicente. Along the way, we stopped and had an absolutely fabulous lunch at the Restaurante O’Castelo. Muito delicioso!! The views along the way were breathtaking and the beaches spectacular. It was a full day, but we saw and learned much about the history and culture of the Algarve. I cannot say enough about Ricardo, our guide. He was amazing. 5-stars plus!! He treated us like we were VIP’s. Ricardo, a native of the Algarve, gave us an in-depth narrative on the history of the area along with a unique perspective of its culture. This made the day even more special for us. An outstanding day!!

The tour guide was very knowledgable about the area and we enjoyed his time with us but our group was picked up a bit late and returned at 1:30 pm instead of 3pm. We were supposed to go for a tour of a sardine museum but this didn’t happen.
Very interesting ride, Pieter as a tour guide was very informative and answered many questions. Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
