A principal estação ferroviária da cidade de Rotterdam recebe uma média de 170 mil passageiros diariamente. Um dos maiores destaques arquitetônicos da cidade.
Edifício do século XVII, antiga sede da Waterschap Schieland, instituição responsável pela política e gestão da água nesta parte da Holanda do Sul, outrora alojamento temporário de Napoleão Bonaparte
Edifício de estilo gótico tardio de 1525 e ao mesmo tempo o edifício mais antigo da cidade de Rotterdam. Um dos vários edifícios raramente sobreviveu ao bombardeio nazista em 15 de maio de 1940.
Monumento homenageado a Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus aliás Erasmo de Rotterdam, um dos maiores filósofos, teólogos, estudiosos, padre do século XVI. Muitos edifícios públicos, estruturas e instituições de ensino são nomeados contra este famoso Rotterdammer.
Edifício moderno situado em uma das maiores praças de Roterdã em forma de ferradura - mercado fechado combinado com espaço de convivência e instalações, também apelidado de "A Capela Sistina de Roterdã"

Um dos portos mais antigos (mas não o mais antigo!) da Rotterdam Medieval, antiga foz do rio Rotte até o rio New Meuse. Hoje em dia, o ponto de encontro favorito dos cidadãos de Rotterdam, com muitos cafés, restaurantes, tabernas, discotecas...
Outrora o edifício mais alto e o primeiro arranha-céu da Europa depois de ter sido erguido em 1898. Semelhante a muitos edifícios em Amsterdã, este edifício também é construído sobre 1000 pilares de madeira.
Também chamada de "A Ponte Vermelha", dedicada a Willem III, é uma das três pontes de Rotterdam que conectam a parte central e norte da cidade com os distritos do sul.
Enorme construção de aço que significa "O Elevador" já serviu como ponte ferroviária "rotativa" e "elevatória" sobre o rio New Meuse. A ponte estava em serviço antes que o túnel ferroviário fosse atravessado sob o rio
O memorial de guerra localizado na margem direita do rio New Meuse. Ele comemora as 3.500 pessoas a bordo de navios mercantes holandeses que perderam suas vidas na Segunda Guerra Mundial.
Leuvehaven - é um museu marítimo ao ar livre. O grande acervo de navios a vapor, máquinas e equipamentos de carga de atracação, motores de navios e outros objetos relacionados ou relacionados com a marinha e navegação de meados do século XIX aos anos 70 do século passado.
Esta ponte suspensa é a ponte mais jovem em Rotterdam cruzando New Meuse... e com certeza a ponte mais popular e conhecida. Um dos maiores símbolos e imagens desta cidade também chamada de "O Cisne" ou "A Harpa", tem 139m de altura com a maior e mais pesada "parte de abertura" da ponte da Europa, com 80m de comprimento.

Had a great time doing the walking tour of Rotterdam with Alex! We really enjoyed Kinderdijk and seeing the different windmills via boat. One of the best moments was having lunch with Alex and talking about each other’s countries and experiences. We recommend Alex as a tour guide!

Alex is the best guide we’ve ever had & we’ve had many. He kept us informed before we met in Rotterdam. He is so knowledgeable and obviously proud of his city. It seemed every local knew him!! He took us to Kinderdijk and gave us a tour of Rotterdam, and even included the delicious patatje oorlog (loaded French fries)! Do not hesitate to book with Alex! You will not be disappointed!!

We really enjoyed this tour. Alex did a great job of pointing out all of the sites. He was very knowledgeable about Rotterdam, Kinderdijk and the history of these locations. Both places are very walkable (this tour would not be a good option if you have mobility concerns). We would highly recommend this tour!!

My husband and I spent the day with Alex touring Kinderdijk and Rotterdam. We met Alex at the Brussels train station. He recommended going to see the windmills of Kinderdijk first which was great. Alex spoke a lot about the history of Rotterdam and the windmills during our boat ride to Kinderdijk. He is very knowledgeable and enjoyed all of his discussions. He was very attentive to us and we moved at an easy pace. We really enjoyed the Kinderdijk area and moved on to Rotterdam. We enjoyed local beer and frites just as the locals. It was a full day and Alex kept us interested and we were very happy to spend the day with him! I would highly recommend Alex and his tour!

Just do it! My family and I (my husband and 3 kids) , we spent great ( fortunately sunny !!!) day with Alex two days ago. We are in modern architecture (Rotterdam is right place or it) and we came from Brussels by train ( very good and nice train connection). Kids were marveled by windmills and animals they saw in this area.. :) I have no other words, simply, Alex was great! Big knowledge about history of Netherlands (and Lowlands at all) in particular Rotterdam, he provided us plenty of information about meaning of polders, windmills, water management in Netherlands.. We were invited to taste local snack " potatoes war" ... :) We got even much more information about Belgium ( and we regret because we didn't contact and hire this guy even earlier (he organize tours in Belgium and Luxembourg as well). Transportation by water taxi from Rotterdam to Kinderdijk and back was also insured ( included in tour price) by this guy so we had less concerns about it. What an incredible day my husband and I had with our guide Aleks. He was so full of information and we could see the joy he had in sharing it with us and showing us his city. We took a boat ride to see the windmills in Kinderjik and spent the rest of the day touring Rotterdam. We stopped for lunch and took time to get to know each other. I highly recommend his tour.
