From the moment you set foot in Uzbekistan, you feel how history and modern life coexist in perfect harmony. My journey started in Tashkent and continued through world famous cities like Bukhara, Samarkand and Jiva. Each destination gave me unique sensations and memories that will be hard to forget throughout my life. Taskent — harmony between modernity and national spirit. The capital of Uzbekistan welcomed me with its wide avenues, green parks and bustling bazaars. At Chorsu Bazaar, I was impressed by the fresh fruits, the variety of traditional crafts and sweets, as well as the warmth of the local people. The Hazrati Imam complex was engraved in my memory as a unique example of religious history and architecture. At the same time, modern buildings and shopping malls show the dynamics of the city. Samarkand — the green mirror of the East. I had heard a lot about Samarkand, but when I saw Registan Square, my heart was filled with unspeakable emotion. The blue domes of the madrasas on three sides, their intricate mosaics and the majesty that has endured over the centuries are difficult to describe in words. At the market in the old city, I was captivated by local carpets, jewelry and ceramics, while chatting with artisans. In each of his works you feel the union of love and tradition. Bukhara — a living museum through the centuries. Walking through the streets of Bukhara, I felt like I was traveling back in time. The aromatic tea and local dishes I tasted in the teahouses around Labi Hovuz were forever engraved in my memory. The Ark fortress, the Mir-i Arab madrassa and the Poi Kalon ensemble — each a historical novel in itself. Bukhara is not only history, but also the peak of hospitality. Jiva — a city that transports you to the tales of “One Thousand and One Nights.” Arriving in Jiva, the high walls of Ichan Kala welcomed me. Its narrow streets, beautiful doors and minarets with blue domes seemed to stop time. The local artisans presented me with dried fruits, rose water and colorful carpets. At sunset, the view of the city of janes became even more magical under the golden tones of the setting sun. In short, Uzbekistan is not only rich history and architecture, but also a country whose hospitality warms the heart. When I returned to Spain and told my friends about this country, they told me that they could feel my love for Uzbekistan in the brightness of my eyes and in the passion of my words. They were right. I had fallen in love at first sight, but this time not with a Spanish girl with golden hair, but with Uzbekistan, the jewel of the East that receives every sunrise with golden rays of sunshine.
