Salkantay Premium Trek 5 Dias: Aventura Glamping para Machu Picchu

Finally made it to the Salkantay trek after years of dreaming of this trip & had the most amazing time! Could not recommend this company or our guide more. Our guide was Carlos The Mountain King & he was so friendly, knowledgeable, and did everything he could to make all of our requests a reality—from trying a full guinea pig to waiting extra while we all took turns getting the perfect angles for photos. The accommodations were all so scenic and luxe especially given that they were in the middle of the mountains?! Adored the views of Humantay and the mountains, and deeply enjoyed our massages and relaxing in the hot springs after some long days of hiking. If you ever get the chance to visit Peru, would absolutely recommend the premium 5D4N if it's within your budget & also that you request Carlos (The Mountain King) as your guide if you can! He will teach you everything you want to know and more about the history, culture, and spiritual background of the area, and make sure you have a good time (and a good laugh) while doing so!

A beautiful trek with amazing views of the mountains, lakes, and plantations around Machu Picchu! The staff are very accommodating and take great care of you, and the accommodations have the coolest view of the mountains and night sky. Our guide Carlos (the mountain king) was very friendly and open to any questions we had for him. He gave us clear instructions for each day and took great care for each person, making sure everyone was comfortable and going at their own pace. His passion for showing us the local cultures and traditions made the trek unique and meaningful.

My friends and I did the 5 day Salkantay Trek with Carlos (the mountain king) and had an amazing time. His knowledge and passion for his culture is inspiring and made learning about the ways of his ancestors feel authentic and comprehensive. He was extremely accommodating during our trek, ensuring everyone of every skill level was comfortable and achieved their goals for the trip. His humor, desire to learn more about us as people and his strong understanding of the region made me feel extremely safe and happy during the tour and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone that wants to do this tour.

The Salkantay Trek was without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, and we felt well taken care of throughout the entire journey. Our guide was outstanding—friendly, professional, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable about the mountains, nature, and local culture. He made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable, adapting the pace whenever needed and always encouraging the group. A special thanks also goes to the chef, who prepared amazing meals every single day. We were genuinely surprised by the quality and variety of the food, especially considering we were camping in the mountains. The horsemen worked incredibly hard and were always kind and helpful. Their dedication made the whole experience run smoothly. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, from the snow-capped peaks and the impressive Salkantay Pass to the lush cloud forests on the way to Machu Picchu. It was a challenging trek, but every step was worth it. We highly recommend this trek and the entire team to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure in Peru. Thank you for an incredible experience—we will never forget it!

Loved the salkantay trek from beginning to end. Anthony was such an amazing guide, always happy to help, happy to be here and guide us, and really fun. The chefs Juan and Alejo cooked such delicious food and Cesar the muleeter was always of great help. All of them were so kind to us. The trek wouldn’t have been the same without them. We also loved the diversity of landscapes, the scenery was incredible. And we were lucky to be within an amazing group of people which made the experience even more memorable!

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Salkantay Trekking. Everything was well-planned and organised, from logistics, food to accommodation. A big thank you to our guides, Alan and Frank, who were incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, keeping us motivated throughout the trek. Also, I am thankful to the talented cooks who whipped up a delicious and hearty feast at every campsite. Ending the trek each day at the beautiful glamping domes, surrounded by stunning scenery, was a perfect touch to the journey. Not forgetting my wonderful group mates who made the entire journey memorable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend the Salkantay trek.
