Itinerário
Começamos nosso passeio na capital da ilha, Fira. É o coração cultural, de entretenimento e comercial da ilha e um dos lugares mais visitados de Santorini. É construído à beira de um penhasco que cai no mar, e sua encosta é coberta por prédios residenciais, igrejas, restaurantes, lojas, etc.
Seguimos para o lugar mais famoso da ilha, Oia. É considerada a vila mais pitoresca de Santorini e ocupa a posição de ponto mais visitado para a observação do pôr do sol, pois proporciona uma excelente vista do conhecido pôr do sol, provavelmente o mais famoso do mundo. Oia fica na costa noroeste de Santorini e sua beleza é sem precedentes…. uma síntese de casas branco-azuis e igrejas de cúpulas azuis, “penduradas” na caldeira, compondo uma tela colorida difícil de colocar em palavras. O tempo para fotos e para percorrer os pequenos becos é o coração das compras, incluindo marcas locais famosas, itens artesanais e lojas de souvenirs.
A próxima parada é o Convento de Profitis Ilias, o pico mais alto da montanha (567m). Podemos apreciar a vista impressionante e de tirar o fôlego. Hoje, o convento abriga uma importante coleção de imagens sagradas, livros manuscritos e itens eclesiásticos raros.
Após o Convento, visitaremos a vila de Pyrgos que já foi a antiga capital da ilha. No centro da vila estão o castelo medieval, várias igrejas, casas tradicionais e becos pitorescos!
Nossa próxima parada é a Praia Vermelha. Seu nome é um sinal revelador do que os visitantes encontrarão ao se aproximarem dele. E, no entanto, esta praia é mesmo vermelha: vermelho, rochas impressionantes que formam falésias escarpadas, areia vermelha e um mar de azul profundo, refletindo também o vermelho vivo da paisagem. Uma paisagem verdadeiramente “alienígena” que os cientistas talvez tenham encontrado apenas em … Marte, o “Planeta Vermelho” – sem, é claro, o belo mar!

We were referred to Mina with Art of Travel by a friend and we were not disappointed! Mina was excellent at communication, especially as we were making arrangements for pick up. She and the driver were very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgable about the island. Although the time flies by, we were able to see several beaches and adjust our tour as needed. Very comfortable travel accommodations. It was especially touching that she gifted each couple a gift at the end of the tour - thank you!
I met Mina through a friend that visited Santorini a couple of weeks prior to our trip. He had nothing but nice things to say about Mina and the great time they had with her. So we started talking with her a couple of weeks prior to our trip. When we finally met up with her, she showed us so many beautiful places on Santorini. She has a great personality and had a lot of knowledge about the island. We would highly recommend Mina to anyone that wants a energetic, professional tour guide to see the beautiful island of Santorini.

A beautiful day touring Fira and Oia with Mina and Pantelis. Mina and her husband took care of us like family from the moment we met. We had the most amazing time visiting the entire island. Making stops along the way and making the day go by in an instant. When it was done we wished to do it all over again. It is not often you meet such amazing people who you can consider a friend instantly and look forward to seeing them again soon.
Mina and her husband are absolute gems. I am SO THANKFUL that my girlfriend and I booked a private tour with them. They took us to all the important spots, obviously, for shopping and sightseeing, but it was the local tour, the history, and attention to detail that put it over the top. What an unbelievably generous and welcoming couple that allowed us to have probably one of the best tours and views of Santorini you could possibly have. When you're exchanging gifts, hugging goodbye, and promising to see each other again, you've not only been on an excellent excursion, you've met excellent friends for life. Our guide, Mina, and her husband were delightful! We had only one night in Santorini, and they certainly made the most of it! Mina gave us an overview of the sights they could take us to, and then asked for our input. We saw everything from gorgeous red and black beaches to beautiful towns. The highlight of the many things we saw was having wine and watching the beautiful sunset in Oia. Mina was knowledgeable and engaging! We highly recommend this tour!
