Incredible experience sleeping in the bush, with lions growling as my alarm clock. Ricky from Deep Africa Mobile Safaris was my guide and was expert. $550 was way to little to charge for this experience. By staying in the bush I got much more time in the wild rather than commuting in and out of the park. I hot about 15 hours in a jeep and 2 hours on a boat. The boat portion could be substituted for more jeep time in my opinion.
I recommend that you choose Simon for an incredible trip to the heart of nature! We spent 3 incredible days and 2 nights thanks to him and his team! Sleeping in the heart of the park is truly a unique experience! Simon accompanied us throughout our stay in the park and was attentive to our requests and desires! A thousand thanks to Simon for your kindness! We all admired Simon's professionalism and passion for showing us the beautiful things of the park! Having a guide who is passionate about what he does is priceless! Thank you, Simon!
Many thanks to Simon for guiding us for three days in the Chobe National Park. No fear no stress in this place prooving that harmony betwenn animals and human can exist. It was an impressive experience with a viewing of so many animals and so near... lions, leopards, buffles, elephants, crocodiles, hipos, phacos, impalas, girafs, koudou, hyenas... and a lot of birds.
This tour of Chobe National Park was truly amazing. Simon, the guide, is extremely knowledgeable on all of the countless animal species Chobe has to offer. His ability to track animals whilst simultaneously driving the jeep was impressive. I was with only three other travellers so we had a more personal experience than some of the other larger tours we saw. The camping was more like glamping, with three course meal and even a shower! My only suggestion for improvement would be clearer communication in preparation in terms of pick up time and what items to bring. Note, there is no need to bring anything other than a sense of adventure, but this was not clear at the beginning.
Everything that I expected and much more. I was on my own but the guides would sometimes go out with me on my own or in a small group. They obviously love their job and their country and were so kind and patient.
