The entire process from booking to meeting up in the day of the dive was clear and simple. Jeff was my instructor, and he explained everything and was an amazing guide underwater. The dive sites are beautiful, and the team is amazing. I will be getting certified after experiencing diving, thank you for the incredible experience!!!

Brilliant introduction to diving with Go Acquatic. We took a boat out to Gaya Island, did some basic training on safety checks and a more in depth lesson on safety for diving. Ther e was then a good lesson in shallow water, where you can stand up and once everyone was comfortable, we did our first dive to about 5-8m depth. The instructor, Jason, was excellent and made us feel very safe at all times, he kept an eye on everything. The other good thing was the e group was very small, only 4 people, so the attention was brilliant. After the first dive we had a great lunch on Gaya Island (included in the price) before heading off for a second dive to about 12m (or whatever people felt comfortable with). We saw a sea turtle, puffer fish and other things along the coral reef. As with the first dive we were under water for about 30mins. Jason took pictures of me and my son diving on a Go Pro and airdropped them to me after the dive on the way back. The whole thing was professional, well run and really slick. Go Aquatic are a good organisation and the staff obviously care a lot. My daughter did the leisure dive as she has her PADI and her experience was the same. I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic first diving experience- great instructor, chilled and pleasant. Enjoyed my time very much, felt safe and well instructed all the time

Similarly as the snorkeling experience, amazing staff and experience. Great environment and nature. A lot to see under the water. Average food for lunch. However 96euros to for a scuba diving discovery lesson is the highest price I ever seen. You will see as much things as if you go snorkeling. It is more for the experience itself. But it was not outstanding compared to snorkeling regarding the nature you would see. I would not recommend it to a friend. As I commented for the snorkeling activity as well, we all understand that it has been tough after covid, but prices for activities in kota kinabalu are insane.

Given the very basic level of backward swimming experience that I have, I thought diving would be literally as simple as it is. Not until I realized that I was so ignorant as diving required so many skills ranging from mental preparation to equalizing skills. All these require effort and I was really fortunate enough to come across Mr Zahrul and Mr Alwee. Big applause to both of them for their patience in guiding me with their professional skills ranging from theory up to practical skills. With their effort, I was at least able to dive deeper and deeper while equalizing myself properly. Though it was just a day trip, at least I experienced that diving feel before and I got to see some fish down there. If anyone would ever seek a diving institution in KK, please, I would definitely recommend you guys to these 2 experts who will bring your diving experience up to a whole new level or equip you with diving skills with the patience package!
