We had a really nice experience overall, and Miguel was a fantastic guide .. funny, informative, and always helpful throughout the trip. The Benagil Caves were beautiful, but quite crowded and touristy. Personally, I enjoyed the Pirate’s Cove caves much more. We were able to park our kayaks there and spend some relaxed time soaking it all in. A highlight was seeing 35,000-year-old fossils on the cave walls, which made the experience feel even more special. The waters were quite choppy at times, but the kayaks were high-quality, stable, and easy to manage, which made a big difference and kept the experience enjoyable.

Once you find the meeting point, the tour is really very nice. It must be clear that you are going on an excursion with many, many other tourists here. There are many operators offering tours at this location. We were a group of 10 kayaks that were accordingly occupied two by two. The guide spoke good English and provided us with a thorough introduction, leading us through the various caves along the coast and sharing information about them. It was well organized, and each kayak was allowed to enter the caves individually to take pictures, etc. I would book this tour again.

This was such a lovely experience. What we saw was just incredible and honestly should of done longer. Lara was our guide and she was so good. She kept everything safe, she was very clear with what she was telling us, she was very relaxed and made us feel like we could take out time without drawing it out.

Excellent kayak tour through the Benagil caves. Lara guided us on a beautiful adventure through a route of caves and beaches by kayak. It was my first time kayaking, and it was super fun to enter the narrow caves. They even took photos of us and shared them later. Highly recommended tour!!!
