Vaar langs de rivieroever van Phnom Penh en geniet van de subtiele geluiden van live traditionele Khmer-muziek op het bovendek. Je kunt het landschap ook vanaf het hoofddek bekijken voor een meer gezellige ervaring bij de bar. Nadat we het Koninklijk Paleis zijn gepasseerd, reizen we naar de kruising van de rivieren Tonle Sap, Mekong en Bassac. Op de Mekong rivier wonen drijvende dorpen en vissersfamilies op hun woonboten, afhankelijk van het waterpeil en de tijd van het jaar. Je zult de zonsondergang* zien boven Phnom Penh, vlakbij de kruising van de drie rivieren. We varen over de Mekong rivier voordat we de Tonle Sap opgaan om in het donker de skyline van de rivieroever van Phnom Penh te bewonderen. Dit perspectief is adembenemend, alleen zo te zien per boot. Nadat we onder de Japanse Vriendschapsbrug zijn doorgegaan, keren we terug naar de haven. *Om van de zonsondergang te genieten, wordt een vertrek om 17.00 uur aanbevolen.

Na uw boekingsbevestiging sturen wij u een bericht met uw geschatte ophaaltijd. Wij zoeken u in de lobby, of voor uw hotel. Let op : Als u tickets boekt binnen 30 minuten voor de vertrektijd van de cruise of buiten onze ophaalzone (neem contact met ons op om te bevestigen), is een ophaalservice niet mogelijk. In dit geval dient u rechtstreeks naar het vertrekpunt te gaan met een ander vervoermiddel.

Do NOT ruin your time in Phnom Penh by choosing this cruise operator. They are very unreliable and will not proceed with the cruise if they have very few passengers booked! On the morning of the cruise, the operator messaged saying I was the only person booked, so asked me to do the cruise the next day (which I couldn't do). A few hours before the cruise, they messaged saying the weather was really bad, so was unsure if the cruise would proceed. Just minutes before the cruise was due to start, they messaged saying the tour is cancelled due to an "engine problem". I couldn't book another cruise at such short notice. Avoid this company, and instead choose another cruise operator that won't come up with excuses.
It was great way to spend the evening watching all the city lights plus the other ships, canoes and boats along the lake and the Mekong River.
If you want a realistic Khmer boat ride in the traditional fashen this is the one for you. There are lesser cost choices on this trip but I alwyas chose the meal with the trip. You can't go wrong. You may ask why this boat. It's easy for me. On the very 1st trip they made me feel so welcome. Not just as a customer but like a friend. Every time I go. and it's been at least 7 times since I found them, I can be walking along the river and they see me and yell out to greet me. That's like family. There are other more modern trips but I don't think you would find a more welcoming crew.
A fantastic evening with live traditional music and some western pop. Probably the friendliest host I have encountered. The cruise was also perfect - an opportunity to see the river from all angles and the most amazing sunset. On the way back into port the hosts joined the traditional music and sang us back to our mooring. A lovely two hours. Thank you for the experience.

Superb cruise on the Mekong with a really friendly and attentive team. Tasty dinner and 3 local musicians for the atmosphere. Superb sunset over the Phnom Penh skyline. I highly recommend! Very pleasant moment!
A really lovely evening and atmosphere - friendly staff, complimentary drink, nuts and melon. The vie of the sunset was glorious, and the musicians were great.
For us the magic of travel is when you get to talk to the locals about what it is really like to live in their country. We had a beautiful meal and cruise along the mekong & the highlight was the conversations we had with the attentive waiters. Great night out.

There are much better boats to take on a river cruise in Phnom Penh. This was adequate and the food was o.k. We enjoyed seeing the city at sunset on the river, but we had trouble docking the boat and waited a while for the crew to figure out how to get us back onshore.
