Maak je klaar om in slechts 3 uur een local te worden. Ervaar onze 3 uur durende proeverij en wandeltocht met inzicht in de Mexicaanse cultuur door de heerlijke, unieke keuken en rijke geschiedenis. Je lokale gids neemt je mee op een gastronomisch avontuur, wandelt door de straten van het centrum van Zihuatanejo en bezoekt 6 verschillende locaties waar je eten kunt proeven. Verkent buiten de gebaande paden restaurants, bezoekt de boerenmarkt, probeert regionale producten zoals: kaas, mol, chocoladedranken, tamales, lokale koffie en meer. Tijdens deze 3 uur durende proeverij met eten proeft u om 8 uur in de lobby van uw hotel. En gereden naar Zihuatanejo, proeft u vervolgens 6 verschillende Mexicaanse traditionele gerechten, tijdens de proeverij krijgt u alle ingrediënten te horen die er op elk van de gerechten staan en hoe de gerechten zijn gekookt. Je loopt ongeveer 10 minuten van een van de lokale restaurants naar de andere, tijdens de wandeling zal je informatieve gids je voorzien van culturele informatie.

Come hungry you are going to try a lot of food. The guide was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed meeting the people at the food stands and resturants overall an amazing tour.
Much walking on uneven surfaces. Great food with lots of meats. Tour of the market where he explained all the different types of foods. Our guide Francisco was excellent. Very pleasant, great English, very knowledgeable on food, history of the area and more. I would recommend this tour.

This food tour was such a standout experience. Every stop felt incredibly authentic, with dishes that were not only delicious but clearly rooted in generations-old recipes and traditions. You could really taste the history in the food. One of the highlights was actually meeting the proprietors at several of the stops and hearing their personal stories as well as food preparation methods firsthand. It added a personal layer to the experience that you just don’t get otherwise. Since the tour, I mentioned relleno de puerco to a MX native friend and he was impressed that we tried it and learned a lot about the transitional preparation. We brought our kids (ages 9 and 12), and they absolutely loved it. Francisco was attentive to our child’s allergies and made sure she had a safe and outstanding experience, which we really appreciated. What we loved most was that many of the places we visited are spots we likely never would have found—or even thought to try—as tourists. Now we have a whole list of places we can’t wait to go back to for amazing meals. Francisco is fun to hang out with and he did a great job sharing the stories behind the food and the families, which made the experience feel much more meaningful than just a tasting tour. It was relaxed, flavorful, and full of great discoveries. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to experience the real local food scene.
We had a great experience once again, when we teamed up with our wonderful guide Francisco. Francisco is so knowledgeable and so friendly that any tour we’ve taken with him has been terrific. We sampled several delightful dishes at many different family owned places. Delicious! We highly recommend.

Francisco was wonderful! He took us on an amazing gastronomic tour of the Mexican culture and history. We truly enjoyed the experience and would do it again in a heartbeat! So much food! If I could ask for anything more it would be a nice cold water to wash it down with. See you again!
We learned a lot from our guide, Francisco. We especially learned about the culture of the people in the area in Zihuatanejo . It was very educational and the food was good. The Carnitas close to the end of our tour were especially delicious.
Improper charges. I was dealt a very small and imperceptible blow that neither I caused, nor was caused in during my office. First they gave me a car with many km and blows that was not suitable for driving because the headlights did not work, and then they changed it for another one that only worked one. Also unfit to circulate at night.
