De chauffeur begroet u op de afgesproken ophaaltijd in de lobby van uw hotel in het centrum (een dag van tevoren op de hoogte gebracht). De rit naar het Terracotta Army Museum duurt 1 uur. Uw Engels sprekende Gids leidt u rond in Pit 1, Pit 2, Pit 3 en extra galerij met nieuwe ontdekkingen. Hier ziet u meer dan 8.000 levensgrote terracotta figuren, waaronder infanterie, cavalerie en boogschutters. Je leert ook over de militaire strategieën, economie, politiek en keizerlijke ideologie van de periode van de Strijdende Staten en verkent dit prachtige ondergrondse mausoleum. Na de 2,5 uur durende tour kunt u een 15-20 minuten durende pauze nemen. U kunt gebruik maken van het toilet, drankjes pakken of winkelen voor souvenirs. Our driver was wonderful and guide exceptional. Our guide, David, spoke excellent English and was an expert on the terracotta warriors - he really added value to the experience for us and was happy to answer a range of questions. He also expertly and politely navigated the absolutely insane crowds in the heat & never showed any indication he was at all bothered. I would highly recommend this tour. Our driver drove us safely and comfortably to our destination, using a translation app to communicate very effectively with us.

David was an amazing tour guide! His passion and pride of the terracotta warriors made his detailed explanations with funny anecdotes even more engaging and informative. We’ve been before and have to say David’s guidance was the best! He even introduced us to the youngest farmer who found the terracotta warriors and we were able to take photos with him! The driver was lovely too, the drive was smooth and he even stopped on the side of the road on the way back so we could take photos of the hill/burial mountain of the emperor qin shi huang. Highly recommend this tour!
We were lucky to join this tour during off-peak season. The queues were short, and since there were only two of us, the tour felt like a private one. Terracota museum worth seeing. We learnt and respect the workers who made the army. Joyce was a great tour guide. She explained things well and answered all our questions clearly. She even find and show us supporting literature to answer our questions. Moreover, she respect us as moslems and even showed us to a recommended Muslim restaurant and helped us order food since we don't understand Chinese.
Our family of 4 went on a tour with Ping's to view the Terracotta Army. Ping was prompt and clear in her communication with us immediately after our purchase, with follow ups till the day of the activity. Our English speaking guide David was fantastic in pacing the tour keeping our kids in mind. Description was clear and English was good. Totally recommend doing this tour for this activity so that you get a good insight into the history that is not in the descriptions and may be quite different if you DIY-ed using the displays and audio guides.
The person that organised the tour was super friendly and helpful, gave us all the details of the tour in a very clear and orderly manner. We were punctually picked up at our hotel, the car was new. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice, spoke good english. At the end of the tour they even gave us a panda-shaped luggage tag as a gift! :) would definitely recommend
