Activiteiten & bezienswaardigheden: Na ongeveer een uur rijden bezoeken we het Terracotta Leger. Bereid je voor om versteld te staan van 7.000 levensgrote terracotta krijgers die zijn opgesteld in een authentieke gevechtsformatie, die al meer dan 2.200 jaar ondergronds begraven liggen. (De aanbevolen bezoektijd is 2,5 uur, en het gebied is grotendeels vlak.) De museumtour omvat drie originele kuilen: Pit 1: Vertegenwoordigt de belangrijkste gevechtsmacht. Pit 2: Bekend als de "Flexible Troupe" (mobiele eenheid). Pit 3: Dient als commandocentrum. Ongetwijfeld is dit een waardevolle bron voor het verkennen van de geschiedenis van China's eerste keizerlijke dynastie, de Qin-dynastie.
Lunch: Na een bezoek aan het Terracotta Leger, lunchen we bij een lokale familie thuis in een dorpje in de buurt van het Terracotta Leger. Activiteiten & bezienswaardigheden: In de middag bezoekt u de stadsmuur, een iconisch gebouw in Xi'an City en ook een verdedigingsstructuur van de oude stad. Onze gids neemt je mee om bovenop de muur te lopen, te genieten van het landschap van de stad en de historische en culturele betekenis van de muur te begrijpen (fietshuurkosten op de stadsmuur zijn niet inbegrepen).
Activiteiten & bezienswaardigheden: De Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, gelegen in de Grote Ci'en Tempel in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China, is een van de iconische bezienswaardigheden van de stad. Gebouwd in 652 na Christus tijdens de Tang-dynastie, werd het gebouwd om de boeddhistische geschriften, relikwieën en beelden te huisvesten die door de beroemde monnik Xuanzang uit India werden teruggebracht. Met een hoogte van 64.517 meter heeft de pagode een vierkante basis en zeven verdiepingen. De eenvoudige en elegante architectuur, met grijze bakstenen die de structuur vormen, toont de unieke stijl van Tang - Dynastie architectuur. In de pagode bevinden zich vele culturele relikwieën en inscripties, die van grote waarde zijn voor het bestuderen van de oude boeddhistische cultuur en geschiedenis. Als symbool van de oude zijderoute en getuige van de culturele uitwisseling tussen China en India, trekt de Giant Wild Goose Pagoda elk jaar talrijke bezoekers uit binnen- en buitenland.
Afzetten: Na een geweldige dag vol activiteiten brengen we je terug naar je hotel of zetten we je af bij het Bell Tower Hotel. Het is perfect voor degenen die de Moslimwijk op eigen houtje willen bezoeken – steek gewoon de straat over om er te komen.

Andy was a very warm and friendly guide, who looked after us well and kept an eye out for everyone including what to beware of. Highly recommend the tour with the local family lunch for a unique Xi'an experience. Absolutely delicious homely meals, which tasted better than restaurants. Andy is a great guide. His tour is incredible. He enchanted us with his words from the beginning. Tour was really good but the very best part was the family lunch. We had the chance to enjoy real traditiona food and it was great. The best meal we had so far in our trip and his family is lovely. If you are going to Xi'an we totally recommend this tour.
The guide was great. She was caring, knowledgeable and she did her best to arrange the trip according to what we asked for and keep everyone happy. The rating is a bit lower because of the large crowds and waiting times we had during our attractions. Other than that the tour and agency did a very good job.

The tour started with rain and a fairly heterogeneous group of people, but Andy, our guide, was so good, nice, and helpful that our day turned out to be fantastic in the end. The food in the village at Andy's parents' house was exceptional. I highly recommend it.

The organization worked smoothly; our bus even picked us up at the hotel ahead of schedule. Our tour guide Andy was super nice and explained a lot to us in good English, including about life in China and Xi'an. At the end, we ate with his family in a small village near Lintong, which was very authentic and delicious. Overall, we really liked it very much; thank you very much.

I booked my first trip to Xi'an via Agoda and met Andy, a fantastic local guide who is friendly, responsible, and highly knowledgeable. He was incredibly thorough, even confirming our hotel location prior to pickup. Andy is very experienced, speaks fluent English, and brought the trip to life with delightful stories about local culture, including the Dragon Boat Festival.
