Dit is een authentieke, praktische ervaring onder leiding van lokale ambachtslieden die meesters zijn in hun vak. Je leert niet alleen de traditionele technieken van het maken van aardewerk en mozaïek, maar krijgt ook dieper inzicht in het artistieke erfgoed van Marokko. De setting in kleine groepen creëert een persoonlijke sfeer, waardoor je contact kunt maken met de ambachtslieden, vragen kunt stellen en jezelf volledig kunt onderdompelen in het creatieve proces. Bovendien ga je weg met tastbare, handgemaakte items die je eigen handen hebt gemaakt: unieke souvenirs die je reis naar Marokkaans vakmanschap belichamen. Dit is meer dan een workshop; het is een authentieke culturele uitwisseling en creatief avontuur dat nog lang in je geheugen gegrift staat!

We regelen dat een chauffeur je opwacht bij de voordeur van je hotel of Riad. Vanaf daar word je naar onze werkplaats gebracht, waar ik je hartelijk verwelkom met thee of koffie. Zodra je gesetteld bent, duiken we in onze kunstles, waar ik je stap voor stap door het proces van het maken van aardewerk en mozaïek zal leiden. Je krijgt de kans om je eigen tajine en tegel te maken. Aan het einde van de ervaring brengt onze chauffeur je terug naar het aangewezen ontmoetingspunt

A wonderful experience for a hot afternoon in Fes. We were provided with an informative guide explaining the process of mosaic and pottery making. The experience itself was extremely peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend this workshop run by Ahmed and Abdou. Thank you so much!
You cannot truly appreciate the art and architecture of Morocco without witnessing the extraordinary labor of love that creates such beauty. I have been in Morocco over a week, but I have new eyes when I see a mosaic. To understand the process and participate by making my own mosaic has greatly increased my attention to the details and my admiration for Moroccan artists.
It was great; we loved it! Three workshops in one. First a ceramics workshop, then painting on ceramics, and finally pottery. We had a fantastic time; thank you again.
Starts with a brief tour of the pottery and mosaic workshops then pretty quickly gets into the arts and crafts portion. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we had so much fun getting to try everything out. This is a must-do if you’re in Fes

I gifted this experience to my mom during our stay in Fès, and we loved the cooperative. We were very well received by Ahmed and his colleagues, who introduced us to the different artisans and their fascinating work. The activity is very comprehensive: - Zellige: Creating a square of mosaic with pieces of all colors. - Painting on clay: Decoration of a room of our choice (note: plan the activity at the beginning of your stay as it takes 48 hours to cure your works!). - Turning: A very nice trial on the potter's wheel. The organization is perfect: the transportation service from the Riad is very convenient, and the communication via WhatsApp is smooth and responsive. Special mention for the very careful packaging that allowed us to bring our creations back by plane without any issues. An enriching, human, and authentic experience that I highly recommend. Thank you to the entire team for their kindness!
We booked this activity for 4 people (a couple with 2 teenagers). Someone picked us up at the scheduled time from the place we had previously indicated on the app. Upon arrival, we visited the site and observed craftsmen working, with explanations from Abdou and his brother 👍. Then we moved on to practice! We started by making mosaics (one each). Then, with different pigments, we colored pottery already decorated; and finally we rolled up our sleeves to try our hand at pottery! Not easy, but we benefited from good advice from a professional:) We left the workshop directly with our mosaics, and we went to collect, 2 days later at the post office of Marrakech, the pottery that we had colored because they required a second cooking (paying an extra because we were no longer in Fez, but if you stay in Fez, it is included).
My partner and I had such a great experience with this workshop and it was so worth every penny. Our host was super friendly and helpful and he took us to watch artisans work, create, paint and fire the pottery. Then we visited the mosaic workers and saw them in action. We were then provided with everything we need to create easy and fun mosaic squares and paint pre-made pottery. We befriended the other traveler in our group as well and had a wonderful time. They provided taxi to and from our nearest Medina gate. Thanks so much for a great time!!!
We had a great morning at this cooperative of pottery and mosaic craftsmen. We saw the craftsmen at work with very clear explanations. Then we were able to create our own mosaic squares, paint pottery and try the lathe. We were very well received and we were never rushed to finish. Everything is super well organized. To do without hesitation, it is really top!!
Very good experience with very talented people. We were overwelmed by the welcome and the assistance. It was perfect. Can’t wait to be back again with family.
