Wonderen van de Hoge Andes uit Mendoza

Tijdens deze begeleide excursie van een hele dag, ga je door de bergen die de stad Mendoza omringen. Bekijk onderweg prachtige scenario's en vele andere bezienswaardigheden, zoals het majestueuze Cordon del Plata-gebergte, de Potrerillos-dam, de Uspallata-nederzetting en "Puente del Inca", het laatste zuidelijke punt van het Inca-rijk, het schilderachtige uitkijkpunt Aconcagua en het Cristo Redentor-monument. Ophalen en afzetten bij geselecteerde hotels. Houd er rekening mee dat de rondleiding in het Engels wordt gegeven op de aanbevolen plaatsen: Potrerillos, Uspallata, Puente del Inca, Aconcagua en in de zomer bij Cristo Redentor.

Vroeg in de ochtend worden we opgehaald bij onze geselecteerde hotels om naar Uspallata te vertrekken, terwijl we grenzen aan de rivier de Mendoza en genieten van de Cordon del Plata en de Potrerillos-dam.
Zodra we Uspallata bereiken, maken we onze eerste stop. Hier worden we geconfronteerd met een pre-Spaanse nederzetting van de inheemse Huarpes, en ook met het zuidelijkste punt van het Inca-rijk.
We bezoeken de villa's van Picheuta, Polvaredas en Punta de Vacas.
Daarna bezoeken we het skigebied Los Penitentes en krijgen we een fantastisch panoramisch uitzicht over de omgeving (entree niet inbegrepen).
We vervolgen onze weg naar de indrukwekkende Puente del Inca, een natuurlijk architectonisch werk met bronnen van warmwaterbronnen.
We gaan verder langs Route 7 totdat we het Aconcagua-uitkijkpunt bereiken. Hier stoppen we om wat foto's te maken van de hoogste berg van het westelijk halfrond, (6.900 meter) boven zeeniveau, zonder de indrukwekkende Puente del Inca, een natuurlijk architectonisch werk, uit het oog te verliezen.
Volg de internationale route en bereik uw eindbestemming, het dorp Las Cuevas (een dorp in Europese stijl, 3200 meter boven zeeniveau). Tussen Las Cuevas en de internationale tunnel loopt een pad dat bezoekers naar het Cristo Redentor-monument leidt, dat 4200 meter boven de zeespiegel ligt.
Eerst komen we langs het Cordon del Plata-gebergte en de Potrerillos-dam, gelegen langs de rivier de Mendoza. Het is een zeer belangrijk hydraulisch werk dat stroom genereert en water verdeelt voor irrigatie voor de hele regio.
Het Cristo Redentor-monument symboliseert de unie tussen Argentijnen en Chilenen. Na het bezoek keren we om ongeveer 17.30 uur terug naar onze geselecteerde hotels in Mendoza. Als we in de zomer naar de Cristo Redentor gaan, eindigt de excursie ongeveer om 20.00 uur. *Het bezoek aan Cristo Redentor is afhankelijk van de weersomstandigheden en het transportverkeer. Na het bezoek keren we terug naar onze geselecteerde hotels in Mendoza.

Full day trip worth every penny. Knowledgeable guide (Federico) who spoke Spanish at a speed I could understand and then repeated in English for my benefit. Stunning scenery. Sufficient time at each point of interest. Good value lunch at 20,000 ARS including a drink. No hesitation in recommending. Take something warm to wear it gets a little chilly. Take a water bottle and fill it up in the stream.
It was one of the best experiences and tours I have been on. Fantastic view all the time. A skilled guide who was good at informing, and a professional driver who drove safely. The walk was amazing, the group very nice. The guide named Esteban was able to give us all the information necessary for the trip and including part of the history of the Andes mountain range. Excellent guide
It's an impressive 10-hour bus ride through the mountains with stops at interesting view points. Unfortunately our tour guide Laila did not speak English but she was creative and at every stop she asked a guide from a different tour to give us a short summary in English. It would have been nice if the company had provided a flyer with the basic information in English. Our guide was very caring about the travelers.
Terrible We paid for an English guide and she did not speak English She spoke Spanish and did not speak to us Very rude And Viator did not want to refund full amount first as they were not interested . Very poor and do not recommend Ruined the day . Avoid them

Absolutely terrible experience AVOID THIS TOUR Viator sold me an English tour but everything was in Spanish and therefore a totally wasted day There were rude and made no efforts They arrived after 8am when pick up should have been 7am - no call to tell me , no apology I paid more money for an English tour and this was a total rip off

Very beautiful landscapes of the Mendoza mountain range, I saw the Inca Bridge, visit the monument to Christ the Redeemer again after many years, in a setting of high peaks, lunch at a restaurant in Las Cuevas, Uspallata, Potrillos dam and village, excellent tour by vehicle impeccable, excellent driver and guide in everything
I had a beautiful experience with Cepas Turismo, more precisely with the guide Frederico and the driver Ariel (I think this was his name). Frederico is an energetic guide, and speaks with passion and a touch of humor about all the attractions of the tour. It is a history class about Mendoza, the Andes, and the campaign of the Liberators of America. Ariel (the driver) is confident at the wheel, especially on the part of the route that goes up to Christ the Redeemer of the Andes. He also has good musical taste, choosing the best songs for the tour. 10/10 I recommend them!
Spectacular! Each stop blows your mind a little more and the tour is also very enjoyable. All the landscapes are amazing. We had Hugo who made it even more interesting and fun. The best of waves!
