Hele dag, kleine groep, luxe wijntour met gastronomische lunch

Three days of wineries and one day at the hot mineral baths spa in the mountains was outstanding. Friendly and professional driving!

My sister and I went on this tour on a cloudy, chilly day in Mendoza, and we had a wonderful time. Our guide was fantastic and made the experience both enjoyable and informative. We started the day at Bodega Familia Blanco. Their state-of-the-art facility was beautiful. We were welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine before taking a brief tour of the vineyard. Afterwards, we enjoyed a tasting and even had the opportunity to try Argentina’s World Cup wine! 🇦🇷 Next, we visited Michelini i Mufatto, a charming family-owned winery. Although the weather was foggy and cold, they made us feel right at home in a cozy room with a fireplace and plenty of wine to taste. We learned a great deal about the grapes, the land, and the winemaking process while also enjoying great conversation. Our final stop was Andeluna Winery, where we enjoyed a delicious three-course lunch paired with excellent wines. Overall, it was an outstanding day filled with fascinating insights into the region, its vineyards, and its wines. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mendoza.

I had a lovely wine tasting day with the group. The wineries represented were of the highest standard and the wines were incredible. Highlight was the wine makers from Familia Zaina - their wine was amazing and homestead was so welcoming. Very close behind (and v difficult to choose a favourite) was the wines of the Corazon del Sol and Claroscuro - equally as tasty, just pipped marginally. Riccardo was a lovely host, very knowledgeable about the region and it's wines. And shout out to Osvaldo our driver, who patiently and competently drove us around. Thank you all.

The tour was excellent. Great communication from the Trout & Wine team before the tour, prompt pickup at our hotel, and a comfortable ride. Carina was a wonderful guide - warm, welcoming, informative, and just overall delightful, and Cristián was a skilled driver (he calmly avoided disaster when another car swerved across 2 lanes in front of us to park!) and had great taste in music for the ride home. The 3 bodegas were quite different from each other, all with a lovely selection of wines and excellent hosts who educated us about the history of viticulture in the region, how the grapes were handled and about how the calicatas could be used to select which ones would thrive, each site’s specific methods for creating certain wines, and we finished with an absolutely incredible lunch using local ingredients and paired with an excellent array of wines. We had a terrific group of fellow travelers and felt like we had a bunch of new friends after this incredible day. We feel so fortunate to have had this experience and would recommend to anyone who loves good wine, beautiful scenery, and great company.

A great day touring wineries with our guide, Lina! The experience takes you to 3 beautiful wineries with an included gourmet meal, which was delicious. The tour company also offers a shipping service if you would like to buy bottles at each of the stops. We left the day with beautiful photos, full bellies, and new friends!

Lina and Osvaldo! The perfect combo, Lina was very knowledgeable and very open to share a lot about wine and Mendoza in general. We didn’t meet the group until we got to the first winery, and right away we felt very comfortable. The group was small and intimate which made the experience even more pleasant. The wineries we visited were very good and the lunch included even better😊 highly recommend!
