Geniet van een mooie rit naar de Annapolis-vallei om 3 bekroonde wijnhuizen te ervaren. Sip je weg door Nova Scotia-wijnland en leer over onze koele klimaatwijnen. Stop één omvat een rondleiding / proeverij bij de eerste wijnmakerij. Bij de tweede wijnmakerij kunt u genieten van een begeleide proeverij en lunch met wijn bij Luckett Vineyards, met uitzicht op de prachtige Minas Basin gevoed door de Bay of Fundy (Luckett Vineyards is alleen beschikbaar in mei-december). Bezoek ten slotte een derde wijnmakerij na de lunch voor een laatste begeleide proeverij voordat je terugkeert naar Halifax.

We had a great time on the tour! JD did an absolutely wonderful job managing the unexpected as the entire waterfront was unexpectedly closed on the morning of our departure. He was great fun. The stops were wonderful, the wineries were very nice and we appreciated all the hospitality. We loved getting to know other guests on the tour as well. Highly recommend.
Man this was great - used to live in the valley and am not a huge wine girl, but I learned a lot about somewhere I used to live and enjoyed all the wine (+ was pleasantly surprised with non-alc/non-wine options) The sandwich lunch is not a typical sandwich lunch - they were hot, loaded, and filling (and so so so so tastey) thank you Luckett!! JD was amazing guide, great sense of humour and awareness for what the group was enjoying in terms of the music - fun fact ratio
We were bumped from our tour, without letting us know, even though we had been charged. We arrived at the pickup place just to be informed that we were not on the passenger list. I showed the driver our confirmation e ticket showing we had paid for the tour. Luckily our driver called his office to rectify the situation. When we returned to our hotel we saw the email notification, which had been sent one hour prior to our pickup time. They advised that because they had overbooked the tour we had been bumped. We didn’t receive the email as we were on our way to the pickup place. I believe that when our credit card was charged Viator should have known if their trip was overbooked and not charged us. We were very embarrassed to be told in front of other passengers that we shouldn’t be there. We enjoyed the tour, our driver was very friendly, but the whole experience left us feeling bitter. We recommend anyone booking in future to verify their reservations to make sure they don’t get bumped as we were.

I cannot overstate how wonderful my experience with Grape Escapes was. I booked this tour for my sister's bachelorette party, and from pick-up to drop-off it was clear that we had won the lottery with our tour-guide: JD!! Not only was he knowledgeable about local Halifax history and wine, but he had an endless arsenal of entertaining (and spooky) stories to regale us with. He was considerate, very attentive to the group's needs, a great communicator, and very charming. Honestly, he made the experience as special and memorable as it was and I hope everyone else who books with Grape Escapes is lucky enough to have him guiding their day! Of course, the wine tastings themselves were incredible - we went to 3 different wineries and each one was different in its own way, and all with exceptional staff. From start to finish, this wine tour felt like a dream and it was truly such a worthwhile experience. I cannot recommend this company enough!!
The guide was so knowledgeable and the wineries were so varied. We went to a big winery, a more intimate one and a "farm" one. It was an amazing day!
Our wine tour was amazing! I would highly recommend this excursion. The van picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel, extremely convenient. J.D. was our van driver-he was knowledgeable, fun, and led a great tour. The visits to the wineries offered a private tasting and lunch. Luckett Vineyards was my favorite! Overall, an awesome trip, five stars out of five stars.
It started with me having to change the day of the tour and the young lady was more than happy to help. Then an easy pick at the hotel by a very cheerful driver/tour guide. The wineries were beautiful. The presentations were fun and professional. The choices for lunch were small but very delicious. The group was small but energetic and wanting to learn about the amazingling delicious Maritime wines
Great day! Just enough time at each vineyard! Loved the three choices and lunch was delicious at Luckett’s! Paul was a great guide and planned a few surprises for the group! Would do it again!!!
Paul, was a fantastic driver/host. Very informative and knowledgeable. The special (chocolate) stop at the end was thoughtful and very welcomed after many glasses of wine.
So much fun. JD drivers was great. I was the only tourist and maritimers were very friendly and nice to me.
