Vertrekkend vanuit het centrum van Londen, zal je chauffeur je rechtstreeks naar Windsor Castle brengen voor een uitgebreid bezoek. Bij aankomst in Windsor Castle zijn audiogidsen beschikbaar in verschillende talen. Windsor kasteel Doordrenkt van geschiedenis, Windsor Castle zit trots op een weelderige beboste heuvel met uitzicht op de Theems. Daterend uit de Normandische tijd, met prachtige aangelegde tuinen en torentjes met ronde toren, is het gemakkelijk om te zien waarom het de favoriete weekendresidentie van de koningin is. Geniet van een fascinerende door-het-sleutelgat kijkje in de weelderige State Apartments, de thuisbasis van onbetaalbare kunstwerken van Rembrandt en Leonardo da Vinci, en bezoek de St. George's Chapel, de sfeervolle laatste rustplaats van voormalige vorsten waaronder Henry VIII. Je kunt het poppenhuis van Queen Mary bezoeken, een werkelijk ongelooflijke structuur compleet met werkende liften, stromend water, elektriciteit en wijnflessen, allemaal in het klein! - Windsor Castle sluitingen : Aangezien Windsor Castle een werkend koninklijk paleis is, moeten soms het hele kasteel of de staatsappartementen in het kasteel op korte termijn worden gesloten. Elke dinsdag en woensdag 24 - 26 december Kasteel gesloten
- Semi-State Rooms : Tijdens de wintermaanden zijn nog eens vijf kamers, gezamenlijk bekend als de Semi-State Rooms, opgenomen in de bezoekersroute.
- St. George’s Chapel : De St. George’s Chapel is op zondag gesloten voor bezoekers omdat er de hele dag door diensten worden gehouden. Aanbidders zijn welkom om de diensten bij te wonen. Het sluit ook om 16.00 uur tijdens de week, dus zorg ervoor dat dit een van de eerste plaatsen is die u bezoekt bij aankomst.
- Baby's van 0 t/m 2 jaar kunnen gratis deelnemen aan deze tour, maar moeten wel op schoot van een ouder/voogd zitten. Wilt u een zitplaats voor uw baby, koop dan een kinderticket. Wij bieden geen autostoelen.

Because it is comfortable and air-conditioned, clear instructions, a very pleasant visit to a place rich in history, we even got to do a bit of shopping in the streets surrounding the castle

Upgrade to get seats at the front and the box lunch! Definitely worth it. Trip was great!! We thoroughly enjoyed it
This review is for the bus operator for excursion on The Windsor Castle half day on Saturday June 6. He is very knowledgeable and provide tips for London and Windsor área. He accompanied us until the entrance to the castle to make sure we do not get lost. Great tour highly recommended
While the castle part was nice, the driver must have been new. He appeared to be afraid to drive the bus ; never going over 40 miles an even though the speed limit was 60. Often driving in the middle of the lane like he was not sure of how to keep the bus in the lane. Also he seemed more interested in telling us what was around than getting us to the castle.
If you take the afternoon departure, the visit is a bit short.

Easy trip to Windsor. The driver was very polite and provided clear instructions. The ticket process was smooth.
Guide was wonderful and knowledgeable. Bus broke down so we lost an hour at the castle. Driver did give us extra half hour at end but still felt rushed. Got lost trying to find way back to bus at end of day. A map would be beneficial!

Armando our bus driver made the tour enjoyable. He also at the gave us a stellar dinner tip for the restaurant Da Mario which was great.
The chapel closes at 4;00- we weren’t told ahead of time and thus missed it.The audio guides were very good and the staff great at answering questions.BUT we felt the time allotted was too short.ESPECIALLY for the price.I wish we had known the train from London was so direct and easy ( plus much! less expensive)we would have been able to enjoy our visit.It felt very rushed.
Fun half day! Good bus trip to Windsor castle. Was great to see Castle and hear about it thru audio guide. Thought it was a bit expensive at 90£.
