Windsor Castle is het oudste en grootste bewoonde kasteel ter wereld. Het is al bijna 1000 jaar het familiehuis van Britse koningen en koninginnen en is vandaag een van de officiële residenties van Zijne Majesteit De Koning. Het kasteel beslaat meer dan 10,5 hectare en biedt een gevarieerd dagje uit voor bezoekers, waaronder een bezoek aan de prachtige State Apartments en St George's Chapel. De Staatsappartementen van het Kasteel zijn ingericht met enkele van de mooiste werken uit de Koninklijke Collectie, die de veranderende smaak van de koninklijke bewoners van het Kasteel weerspiegelen, met name die van Karel II en George IV. Veel van de kunstwerken bevinden zich nog steeds in de historische setting waarvoor ze voor het eerst werden verzameld of in opdracht van de koningen en koninginnen die in Windsor hebben gewoond. Bezoekers kunnen een zelfstandige rondleiding door het kasteel volgen met een gratis multimediatour. Van oktober tot maart kunnen bezoekers ook door de weelderige Semi-State Apartments wandelen, die in de 19e eeuw dienden als privékamers van George IV.
St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle in Engeland, is een kapel ontworpen in de hoogmiddeleeuwse gotische stijl. Het is zowel een Royal Peculiar, een kerk onder de directe jurisdictie van de monarch, als de Kapel van de Orde van de Kousenband. Zitplaats ongeveer 800, het is gelegen in de onderste wijk van het kasteel.
Een van de meest gefotografeerde voorbeelden van Georgische architectuur in de stad en een van de slechts vier bruggen ter wereld met winkels over de volledige overspanning aan beide zijden, Pulteney Bridge werd ontworpen in 1769 door Robert Adam.
De Romeinse baden, in het hart van de City of Bath World Heritage Site, bestaat uit de opmerkelijk bewaard gebleven overblijfselen van een van de grootste religieuze kuuroorden van de oude wereld. De unieke thermale bronnen van de stad ontspringen in de site en de baden stromen nog steeds met natuurlijk warm water. (Als u kiest voor opname)
Bath Abbey is een anglicaanse parochiekerk en voormalig benedictijner klooster in Bath, Somerset, Engeland.3] Gesticht in de 7e eeuw, werd het gereorganiseerd in de 10e eeuw en herbouwd in de 12e en 16e eeuw; grote restauratiewerkzaamheden werden uitgevoerd door Sir George Gilbert Scott in de jaren 1860. Het is een van de grootste voorbeelden van Perpendicular Gotische architectuur in het Westland. De kathedraal werd geconsolideerd tot Wells Cathedral in 1539 nadat de abdij werd opgeheven bij de ontbinding van de kloosters, maar de naam van het bisdom is ongewijzigd gebleven.

Very cool combination of places. Very rushed though, only about 1.5 hours at each location. If you are a fan of royal history you NEED a whole day at Windsor castle; there are a lot of things/places within it that had long lines but we couldn’t wait because of the tour. Stonehenge was great, Baths you truly only have time to see the Baths museum. If you want any time walking around the city shops, do not book this tour. For a quick introduction and only seeing the highlights, this tour is great. Richard was ok, repeats stories a lot, but is overall knowledgeable.
Very informative and easy to understand Bath was very interesting and shopping and cafes excellent. Tour guide very good.
It's too much crunched in a long day. Would be nice to advertise beforehand about how long folks will have at each stop so people can plan accordingly. I would have loved more time in Bath and Windsor, felt very rushed. Kinda loved that the tourguide left people behind if they were late, as we all know there is always a family or duo that thinks it's their private tour and take forever. But can all be avoided if this can be broken up.... Lastly, I picked my hotel based on the meeting spot (10 min walk). Was dropped off 45 minutes away. Not what I'm used to with these tours as drop off is usually near pick up... but alas, I survived. PRO TIP: Read the full tour details before signing up, and make sure you are ok with lots of standing in line....
Do not go! Our first stop the guide had poor directions on how to get back to the bus. We got lost and called the guide and was not willing to help. We were left there and had to uber back to London . You also get very limited time at the site and you barely have time to see much. I called the company and explained and was I willing to help and still charged us.
The tour guide, Richard, was great. He talked about the towns that we drove by, not just the destinations. It was a very full day and he managed the schedule well, ensuring that people were back to the coach ontime so that we could move on promptly. It was a well worthwhile tour.

A lot packed into one very full day. This would be a taster tour. Not enough time to fully explore each area. Anna and Lucian were amazing! Provided super guidance with humor, expertise and care. Courteously seared us in front of the coach that was packed with families.
We enjoyed this tour. Bath is a beautiful town. Stonehenge was great to see and Windsor is lovely with pretty gardens and plenty of places in the train station to pick up sandwiches and snacks. Or best to pack some with you before you go. It is a very long day and time is tight so if you want to linger at each place you may want to choose a tour with only 1 or 2 sites. Our guides were very knowledgeable and kept is entertained. They were aware of every passenger and took great care of everyone on board.
Ana was a phenomenal guide on the bus. Each destination had it’s own audioguide, so we could explore at our own rhythm. Very convenient way to visit 3 distants locations on the same day.
