Ze is een moderne windjammer met luxe accommodaties en veel zitplaatsen. Dankzij de brede dekken kun je gemakkelijk rondlopen en genieten van al het prachtige uitzicht op de zonsondergang.

Uw zeilcruise bij zonsondergang vertrekt vanaf Bayview Landing, in het hart van Camden Harbor. Zeelieden beschouwen Camden Harbor als een van de mooiste havens in New England, omlijst door de bergen die de zee begroeten. Voel het gevoel van avontuur terwijl de bemanning de zeilen hijst. Doe mee aan deze eeuwenoude traditie door mee te doen en mee te helpen de zeilen te hijsen. Neem een draai aan het stuur en voel de opwinding van het besturen van een traditioneel houten schip.
De Appledore II werd in 1978 met de hand gebouwd op de Gamage Shipyard in Maine in de beste scheepsbouwtraditie. Ze bewees haar zeewaardigheid door de wereld rond te varen. Ze blijft twee keer per jaar een oceaanreis van 2000 mijl zeilen tussen haar zomerhuis Camden, Maine en winterhuis in het tropische Key West, Florida.
Je boottocht door Downeast Maine voert je langs Curtis Island Light, waar je zeelieden sinds 1836 helpt navigeren, en naar Penobscot Bay. Enjoyable cruise , crew very friendly, informative and interactive. The Captain was Will and crew Emily and Yahn. They all shared great experiences and answered everyone’s questions. Drinks on board were very inexpensive. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fabulous time on the Appledoorc sunsets cruise. Captain Pablo was very friendly and informative during our sail. The schooner was at full capacity and the mates, Ryan and Andy raised the sails and made sure everyone had fun. The drinks and beautiful weather for our sunset sail also helped made this a memorable trip. Highly recommend!
