Beschrijving
Wij zijn het baanbrekende (originele) walvisobservatiebedrijf van Granville Island. We bieden intieme rondleidingen onder leiding van mariene natuuronderzoekers die gepassioneerd zijn door dieren in het wild en natuurbehoud. We proberen niet het gedrag van de wilde dieren die we tegenkomen te beïnvloeden. In plaats daarvan zijn we in staat dieren te observeren die zich natuurlijk gedragen in hun natuurlijke omgeving. De dieren worden nooit gevraagd om op te treden. We dragen de gegevens die we verzamelen bij aan initiatieven op het gebied van marien onderzoek en natuurbehoud. We zijn geaccrediteerd als een geautoriseerd walvisobservatievaartuig en kunnen legaal wilde dieren dichterbij benaderen dan andere schepen, terwijl we toch een respectvolle en veilige afstand bewaren.

Veldgidsen, gidsen voor het identificeren van walvissen en lesmateriaal kunnen aan boord worden geleend
We geven er de voorkeur aan dat onze gasten een hervulbare waterfles meenemen (om te besparen op plastic voor eenmalig gebruik), maar we hebben extra flessen water aan boord voor het geval dat!
Volledige lengte (armen en benen), eendelig, drijfpak tegen blootstelling (te dragen over uw kleding)
Oordoppen voor eenmalig gebruik kunnen op verzoek worden verstrekt
Gembersnoep kan op verzoek worden verstrekt voor reizigers die last hebben van bewegingsziekte

De reis kan tot 5 uur duren, afhankelijk van waar de walvissen zich bevinden, dus het wordt aanbevolen dat onze gasten hun eigen snacks mee aan boord nemen.

Great time!
We had a great time. The tour guide was so insightful and clearly has a passion for whales. The team was respectful of the whales and their space while giving us the best view we could have. Would highly recommend them.

Humpback show to remember
Amazing experience, we were lucky to witness an amazing show by some Humpbacks in Howe Sound. Trish was a very knowledgeable guide which made it even more interesting.

Outstanding Experience
Outstanding tour with guide jasmine and Captain Chris. We saw humpbacked whales ,orca, harbour porpoise and seals. Jasmine was so informative and clearly is hugely interested and educated in her subject. The team took time to ensure everyone had good views of the whales . Outstanding experience on a sunny and calm day.

Great!
Very beautiful experience, we saw magnificent whales as well as sea lions. I recommend taking the wetsuit to stay warm and fully enjoy the ride. Thanks again!

Great trip
Amazing sightings of Orca and a very attention seeking humpback putting on a spectacular display. The open boat is nice but it is difficult to stand in front of the seats. It was also sometimes difficult to see the wildlife if it was on the opposite side of the boat.

Great afternoon whale watching
Wonderful few hours watching whales with Jasmine and Darko. Really brilliant to see a pod of Orcas including a baby and six humpback whales and learn about their unique species and the environment they live in. Would certainly recommend to anyone interested in marine life.

Learned so much!
Jasmine and Darko were brilliant, you could tell how genuinely interested she was and she spoke so amazingly for all 4 hours. An amazing trip and so so worth it.
