Wijnmakerij Albert rivier Geschiedenis in de maak. Albert River Wines biedt een erfgoedlocatie die de grootsheid van ons koloniale verleden vastlegt. Het restaurant is de thuisbasis van drie voormalige premiers van Queensland en bevindt zich in de biljartkamer van Auchenflower House. Verwacht geschiedenis, elegantie en een ontspannen diner met geweldige wijnen. De glorieuze omgeving met zijn uitgestrekte oprijlaan, de veranda met zuilen en glooiende heuvels bedekt met wijnstokken zullen een onberispelijke setting bieden voor wat zeker een geweldige ervaring zal zijn. We kunnen lunchen op de veranda met uitzicht op de wijnranken.
163 jaar oude historische hoeve 'Killowen' is O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards met uitgestrekte gronden die zich uitstrekken langs de oevers van de Canungra Creek en de Alpaca Farm op het terrein, zodat u een Alpaca kunt voeren en wandelen door weelderige wijngaarden.
Mt Nathan Winery is van een bescheiden begin uitgegroeid tot een van de beste wijnmakers aan de Gold Coast. De familie Gibson migreerde voor het eerst naar Australië in de jaren 1850. De familie had een passie voor het maken van wijn en dit floreerde door George Gibson. George richtte in de jaren 70 de Central Coast Winery Pty Ltd op met hulp van zijn zoon Peter. Samen experimenteerden ze met verschillende soorten wijnbereiding, van het gebruik van traditionele druiven tot diverse soorten fruit en groenten en honing.

Tour operator didn’t turn up!! We waited 45mins. Finally he responded to numerous calls. Said he wasn’t getting paid by Viator and therefore wouldn’t take us. I suggest Viator remove your 3rd party booking system with him as he is unreliable and unprofessional , I’m waiting for my refund from Viator .
We made reservation and payment thru Marriott Hotel, the travel agency confirmed the tour and payment, never picked us up, we tried many times to call but only an answer machine, I sent emails asking for an explanation and refund but nothing happen. Worst thing is that I received an email the day after asking if we enough the tour!! So I do not want to loose my money. My reservation number was 168703117 for May 19, 2023
Had a wonderful relaxed day. Delish cheese, wine, lunch and chocolate and plus shopping time, educated about country, thanks to our great tour gudie/driver Dale. What more could you want from this tour, well nothing, we had a fantastic day. Cheese Dianne and Pete D.
Terrible experience, paid for transport to pick up location only to find the trip was closed after contacting tour operator!!! Waste of a day and have not received my refund yet.
The operator didn’t notify us the tour was cancel until I msg them and ask abt the pick up point location. Tripadvisor didn’t refund my cancellation immediately until I email and check. This is my 1st time to use Tripadvisor to book tour and really bad experience. Not confident to book other trip via Tripadvisor.
The Wine Tour was cancelled, and no one notified my group. We waited at the assigned pick-up spot in Brisbane. When nobody came, I phoned Cooee Tours who were mystified by my booking. The good thing is that Trip Advisor refunded my money almost immediately. The bad thing, is my group was out $80 for our travel to the pick-up spot. Won't use Trip Advisor again.
Excellent choice of winery’s, really enjoyed all three. The Honey Wine at Mount Nathan Winery is to die for. A must do trip.

I waited 2 1/2 hours to be Picked up at my hotel. I confirmed the pick up at my hotel with Frank the day before, who told me it would be an 8:30 AM pick up. When no one showed up I called the number of Cooee tours only to get an answering machine 4 x’s. Not so much as an email or call to find out my status during the time I was waiting. Very angry about this and will demand refund.
Hello Susan, Sorry to hear these. Yes you were on the list for pickup. I have spoken with driver and he went to ibis Brisbane to pickup you. Waited 15 mins and no one showed. He couldn't ring your number because it was overseas number. Office isn't open on Sunday's that why you got answering machine. Sorry you booked with Viator, so they have your money. You will have talk to them about refund.
Visiting The last two wineries on the tour which were the most informative gave more guidance to all types of wines.
