Er zijn veel dingen te zien en te doen op één dag: zoetwatermeren, kustwandelingen, paradijselijke stranden, een rijk onderwaterleven en dieren in het wild, cultuur en geschiedenis. Tijdens deze tour loop je de Gorge Walk, bekroond met een van de meest verbazingwekkende kustwandelingen in Australië, waar er grote kansen zijn om manta's, schildpadden, dolfijnen en nog veel meer te spotten. En het belangrijkste: zonder haast! Neem gewoon de tijd om te genieten van de attracties. En de stranden! De gids neemt je mee op een wandeling op een geheime plek om koala's in het wild te zien en je hebt ook genoeg tijd om te zwemmen bij Amity Point Beach. Ons doel is om een meer intieme ervaring met de reizigers te creëren, daarom is het maximale aantal mensen 11 in elke groep. Geniet van een geweldige zonsondergang bij de veerboot op de terugweg naar het vasteland. Deze tour richt zich op het creëren van opmerkelijke herinneringen, ontspannen en verbinding maken met moeder natuur, geschiedenis en cultuur. Kom en doe mee en zie waar het allemaal om draait!

Neem de veerboot, drink een kopje koffie en ontspan terwijl u geniet van het geweldige uitzicht op Moreton Bay tijdens deze overtocht van 45 minuten.
Brown Lake is puur regenwater dat bruin getint is door de inheemse theebomen, ook bekend als Lake Bummiera, sommigen zeggen dat deze verborgen schat verjongend water heeft. Leer meer over het eiland en het historische en culturele belang van het Quandamooka-volk. Laat u verfrist en nieuwe energie opdoen in het zoete water van dit prachtige meer.
Maak vanaf een van de meest indrukwekkende uitkijkpunten op het eiland geweldige foto's en maak een korte wandeling op dit paradijselijke strand.
De grote attractie van de dag: The Gorge Walk. Tijdens deze wandeling van 40-45 minuten zult u genieten van het geweldige uitzicht op de Koraalzee aan de Stille Zuidzee en het ongelooflijk rijke onderwaterleven: grote kansen om mantaroggen, schildpadden, dolfijnen en nog veel meer te spotten.
Het is tijd voor de lunch bij Point Lookout. Omdat we onze reizigers graag meerdere keuzes geven, kun je je eigen lunch meenemen of een afhaalmaaltijd kopen en genieten van een picknick met een prachtig uitzicht.
Het is dan tijd om te ontspannen op het strand, dus de tour gaat naar Amity Point. Je gids neemt je mee op een wandeling (geheime plek) om koala's in het wild te zoeken en, als koala's spotten niet jouw ding is, heb je weer opties: geniet van nog meer tijd op het strand.

Great trip. Well organised. Friendly guide. The island is gorgeous with magnificent scenery and we saw lots of wildlife including whales playing off shore. Had a wonderful day.

The booking to actual experience of the tour, everything was absolutely wonderful. Aggie was a delightful host and guide... She made us feel very welcomed and comfortable throughout. The pace of the tour was perfect and the overall management was smooth as butter. Icing on the cake, thanks to Aggie were the adorable kangaroos and koalas spotted in their natural environment, it will be my most special takeaway from the trip.

Excellent day out on this beautiful island. Small group with friendly guide,Rob, who took us around the island to special spots. Saw bush curlews(lots), whales,turtles,carpet snake winding up a bush,wallabies,koalas,beautiful scenery. Highly recommend.

The view of Pacific Ocean was breathtaking, and fortunately we met some wild dolphins, whale, kangaroos(family), and koalas! And the tour guide was great and really care for everyone in the tour, regardless of races, or colours(no matter you're white or yellow), and ages(from elderly to children). But it's a pity that the time was a little less in North Gorge Walk and the shops beside the Walk, we'd love to spend more time relaxing in the small but delicate area. In total, we would definitely recommend the tour and Hits the Road Company to everyone!

An enjoyable and informative tour round the sights, wildlife and beaches of Straddie. We saw whales, a couple of dolphins and even a couple of koala way up high in a gumtree, and did the stunning gorge walk. A long day but a good one, especially with the fine weather.
