Deze tour combineert de natuurlijke schoonheid van de Blue Eye Spring, de charme van lokale wijnproeverijen en de magie van een zonsondergang in het kasteel van Lekursi met uitzicht op de Ionische Zee. 1-Begin je reis met een bezoek aan het legendarische Blauwe Oog (Syri i Kaltër). Bewonder het levendige blauwe water dat uit de aarde borrelt in een weelderige bosomgeving. Leer over de mysterieuze diepte van de bron en geniet van een rustige wandeling door de natuur. 2-Wijnproeverij ervaring bij Kantina Isak Ontdek het oude wijnbouwerfgoed van Albanië terwijl u een selectie lokale wijnen en raki proeft, gecombineerd met kaas, olijven en andere regionale lekkernijen. Ontmoet de wijnmakers en leer over inheemse druivensoorten en landelijke tradities. 3-De laatste bestemming is Lekursi Castle, hoog boven Saranda. Wat de Blue Eye zo fascinerend maakt, is dat duikers meerdere keren hebben geprobeerd om af te dalen in het turquoise water om de diepte te berekenen, maar dat is niet gelukt. Het blijft dus een mysterie hoe diep de Blue Eye is, maar het diepste punt dat de duikers hebben bereikt, is 50 m (164 ft) diep. Syri I Kalter (Albanees voor "Blue Eye") is een unieke plek die u zeker aan uw Albanese reisroute moet toevoegen.
Kantina e Verës ISAK biedt een ongelooflijke ervaring van Albanese gastvrijheid met een schilderachtige en charmante wijngaard. Bezoekers worden getrakteerd op een rondleiding door de wijnproductie, en olijfolie voordat ze raki, verse groenten, kazen etc proeven
Tussen stenen ruïnes liggen vaak lugubere verhalen over lang vervlogen tijden. Het Lëkurësi-kasteel in Albanië is slechts een van die ruïnes. Ook bekend als Kalaja e Lëkurësit in het Albanees, heeft dit historische kasteel een interessante geschiedenis. Het kasteel ligt op een steile heuvel die strategisch uitkijkt over de stad Saranda en werd in 1537 gebouwd door Sultan Suleiman de Grote, de langst regerende Sultan van het Ottomaanse Rijk. Suleiman was een machtige Sultan die onder zijn bestuur over minstens 25 miljoen mensen regeerde. Tijdens zijn monarchie leidde hij Ottomaanse legers in hun pogingen om christelijke bolwerken in heel Europa te veroveren. De bouw van het kasteel van Lëkurës op zo'n steile heuvel zou zeker een strategische beslissing zijn geweest.

Had a lovely tour guide who was very accommodating, however we were all very surprised about having to pay £15 extra on top of the £50 for the tour for the wine tasting when it was advertised as a wine tasting tour, although it did mention alcohol not included the title of the tour was misleading and overall not sure why we paid £50 each to get driven to two places.

Regarding the wine tasting, we would kindly like to clarify that the wine tasting menu was clearly marked as not included in the tour price, both in the activity description and in your reservation details. We also personally explained this again on the day of the tour before arriving at the winery to avoid any misunderstanding. Additionally, the amount mentioned in the review is not fully accurate, as the final tour price depends on the number of participants through tier pricing. The actual rate per person for your booking was significantly lower than stated. We were especially surprised by this review because we waited more than 3 extra hours at the winery to accommodate the group and make sure everyone could fully enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. Of course, we respect all feedback and always try to improve, but we genuinely feel that this review does not fully reflect the overall experience and the effort made during the tour.
