Toegangsticket voor Whitby Abbey

Beschrijving

Whitby Abbey was perfect as always but I want to mention ‘Time will tell theatre company’ doing Dracula! They were brilliant, the atmosphere, the professionalism and the humour. I had no idea what to expect but we were so impressed and would encourage everyone to visit while these performances are on. They were fun and entertaining and dealt well with the children who were clearly engrossed in the story. Thank you for a great afternoon.
We always visit the Abbey when staying nearby, great views and very atmospheric place. When we visited they were doing an outdoor performance of the Dracula story, told with only three actors, it was nonetheless done really well and we thoroughly enjoyed the performance!
The experience was complete made by the performance of Dracula! We didn’t know it was in and we caught the last hour or so. It was fantastic! Brilliant cast, funny and engaged well with the audience. The abbey was a perfect setting. Glad we change that as it made it worth the money. Without it we would have only been there for half an hour a s would have been expensive! With the play it was well worth it!
We were not expecting a theatre performance of Dracula by Time Will Tell theatre company to be included with the tickets - it was AMAZING. Children (12 &10) were totally engaged, such an opportunity to see the play at the Abbey itself. Made our day
We walked up the 199 steps and bought our ticket on the gate. It’s just a wonderful place to be. The heritage centre was new since the last time we were there (a very long time ago), and was enjoyable and informative. The ruins of the abbey are still hugely impressive and a very peaceful place to be (even when there are lots pf people around)
Great place to visit Museum interesting and good shop. Had a audio tour which was informative and interesting. Great day Staff friendly
There are a few ruins of the old Abbey along with a museum which is little more than a home for a few pieces that have fallen off & a few pictures. We struggled to fill 30 minutes. If it had been free entry I’d have been underwhelmed however it cost £37.50 for 2 adults (including parking). Thank goodness it’s a charity otherwise I’d have called the police to report a robbery 😇
