Derwisjshows, ook wel bekend als 'wervelende derwisj'-optredens, zijn een boeiende en betoverende culturele ervaring die je kunt meemaken in Cappadocië, Turkije. Deze shows zijn geïnspireerd op de spirituele en meditatieve praktijken van de Mevlevi-orde, een soefi-islamitische sekte opgericht door de 13e-eeuwse dichter en mysticus Rumi, ook wel bekend als Mevlana. Well organised transfers from hotel. Really interesting ceremony in a cave room. Would recommend to other travellers interested in an authentic turkish experience.

A great experience to join in winters. We checked alot of activities to spend some time, at the end we got decision to join dervish show. Show was great. Performers were superb professional, a kind atomosphere for soul. Recommended

It was a nice experience to witness part of the Turkish culture for which the dancing represents. My mom always wanted to see this and she really enjoyed it.

Despite some initial misunderstanding about the booking the managers were attentive and helpful. Curious and very particular experience. There are short explanatory brochures in different languages, but it is useful to browse two pieces of information about the seed first.

The ceremony itself is very interesting, but they DO NOT WANT YOUNG CHILDREN. So be careful! Tripadvisor made me book for 2 adults + 1 infant but then at the entrance they made a fuss!
We've been to Whirling Dervishes shows before, but this one was traditional and true to their beliefs.
