Verken de beroemde Westminster Area van Londen (Buckingham Palace, Westminster & Big Ben en 20 andere topattracties!) tijdens een 3 uur durende wandeling. Bezoek dan Westminster Abbey, een van de meest opmerkelijke religieuze gebouwen van het Verenigd Koninkrijk. Begin met een wandeltocht door de geschiedenis, cultuur en legendes van een van de meest geliefde steden van Europa. Ga door Green Park naar Buckingham Palace en woon de wereldberoemde ceremonie van de wisseling van de wacht bij (alleen ma, wo, vr, zo - tour om 10.00 uur). Rijd door Westminster en zie Downing Street, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben en de Houses of Parliament. Ga vervolgens naar Westminster Abbey. Sinds de kroning van Willem de Veroveraar in 1066 hebben alle kroningen van Engelse en Britse vorsten plaatsgevonden in Westminster Abbey. Na een wandeling door het mooie Green Park bereiken we Buckingham Palace - officieel huis van de koning! Uw gids vertelt verhalen over de Britse koninklijke geschiedenis terwijl u dit prachtige paleis bewondert. Op bepaalde dagen kunt u de wereldberoemde wisseling van de wacht bekijken, en uw gids zal de perfecte uitkijkplek vinden! Daarna wandelt u langs de Royal Mall.
Bij het bereiken van dit iconische openbare plein zie je Nelson's Column, de prachtige fonteinen en beroemde gebouwen, waaronder The National Gallery.
Ga verder naar Horse Guards Parade, aan de rand van het prachtige St. James Park. We stoppen om de beroemde boog en iconische klok te bewonderen - een geweldige fotomogelijkheid!
Vervolgens leidt uw gids u naar het nabijgelegen Whitehall. Dit is de thuisbasis van vele grote gebouwen en monumenten, evenals Downing Street waar de Britse premiers hebben gewoond en gewerkt sinds 1735!
Op Parliament Square ziet u het ongelooflijke Palace of Westminster (thuisbasis van de Houses of Parliament) en de iconische Big Ben-klok van dichtbij, evenals uitzicht op de London Eye en het Churchill-beeld.
Ga verder naar Westminster Abbey - een van de mooiste gebouwen van Londen met meer dan 1000 jaar geschiedenis. Hier worden Britse koningen en koninginnen gekroond! We boeken je toegangskaarten vooraf voor na de wandeltocht, dus je hoeft niet in de lange rij te staan! Eenmaal binnen verken je in je eigen tempo met behulp van een gratis audiogids (beschikbaar in meerdere talen)

Great tour! Our guide, Will, was knowledgeable, funny and extremely personable. He did a great job positioning us to see the guards, which we really appreciated. Will provided the best combination of information and fun/laughter. I highly recommend this tour and ask for Will!
If Nathaniel is your guide you are getting the best! Tour is flat but you are on your feet virtually entire time either walking or watching. We started a few minutes early as everyone was there. Nathaniel did a great job keeping track of everyone throughout the trip. Once organized we walked through The Green Park stopping several times (in the shade) to be given knowledge about several houses along the way. This included historical , architectural, and cultural facts provided by Nathaniel who had knowledge without end. We continued to Buckingham Palace where we were placed in a great spot to see the palace and the changing of the guard. Again, much interesting info was provided. Then……. Nathaniel had told us of his hope that we might see King Charles drive by; he recognized the changing of the flags at the palace and the increased security activity and sure enough the King emerged in a car and drove right by and waved! As an added bonus Camilla came out 5-10 minutes later and we were in the perfect spot for pics or videos. Nathaniel eagerly shared what he had gotten with the rest of us. We then headed toward Trafalgar Square stopping along the way at St James Castle in London across from the parade ground where again Nathaniel filled us in on appropriate historical info about Henry and his six wives among other things. In Trafalgar Square we were provided interesting facts about the monuments at hand and the historical events that prompted them. Also an interesting origin story for tge phrase ‘turning a blind eye’. Finally we reached Westminster Abbey where we said our goodbyes to Nathaniel. Our tour actually ran about 45 minutes over its allotted time but no one seemed to mind at all. The tour of the Abbey is self guided and worth it. Cant thank Nathaniel enough nor recommend him highly enough. If you are in London for a day, this tour and guide are well worth it. Btw- Nathaniel is an aspiring actor so keep an eye out for him in the West End some day soon!
It was very informative. If you can go on a M, W, or F they knew the best way to see the changing of the guard! Our guide, Will was a great storyteller which made for a wonderful experience. Wear sunscreen.

Ash our guide was great! The tour was informative and just long enough to get in all the sites around Buckingham Palace. We visited Westminster Abbey after our tour which was very beautiful.

We were late for our initial scheduled walking tour. They were gracious to give us our Westminster Abby entrance tickets and reschedule the walking tour. Our tour guide Jack was funny and knowledgeable. We had a great time!
we had the chance to bet their for the parade trooping colors. Jason, our guide, did a great job to find us an amazing spot to see the parade and the King. Jasons provided insightful information on the royal family and all the attractions we saw , during the tour.
Ari was incredible! The day of our tour happened to be Trooping the Colors so the area around Buckingham Palace was a zoo, but Ari navigated the crowds and found us a great spot to watch the parade and see the royal family before continuing the tour of other highlights in and around Westminster. She was so very knowledgeable of the area and the history and presented it a fun and entertaining way. She gave us a great recommendation as to where to watch the flyover after our tour was over. I would highly recommend this tour and Ari!
