Een lokale gids die een leuke, ontspannende en deskundige tour rond het eiland Madeira verzorgt. Wanneer u een doorgewinterde reiziger bent of voor de eerste keer op bezoek bent, zijn deze tours ontworpen om aan alle interesses te voldoen. Deze privétour is een mix van alles: lokale gebieden, bezienswaardigheden, natuur, zwemmen en nog veel meer. In het zeldzame geval dat ik volgeboekt ben, kunt u er zeker van zijn dat mijn broer Ricardo en ons team van professionele chauffeurs klaar staan om in te grijpen en ervoor te zorgen dat uw tour niets minder dan spectaculair is.

Een typisch vissersdorp in Madeira. Winston Churchill schilderde hier graag landschappen. Geniet van een koffie in de ochtend terwijl je de visser bekijkt met zijn dagen werk.
Een 580 meter lang glazen platform opgehangen aan een zeeklif. Prachtig uitzicht op de kust. Vanaf maart 2023 wordt hier een toeslag van € 2 per persoon in rekening gebracht.
Een kustgemeente met een riviertje dat door het centrum richting zee loopt. Geniet van een wandeling door deze lokale omgeving en geniet van de omgeving, u vindt cafés, winkels en een kleine markt langs de zee.
Kleine kustgemeente aan de noordkust. Omgeven door weelderige bergachtige bosvalleien, vindt u hier een zeer pittoreske kerk.
We nemen de schilderachtige route door de kustwegen van Seixal op onze reis naar Porto Moniz. Hopelijk om wat watervallen langs de weg te zien.
Het hoogtepunt van de reis; natuurlijke vulkanische zwembaden. Neem zwemkleding mee * Toegang ongeveer € 3. Als niet zwemmen, veel cafés voor Sangria aan zee.

Ik haal op bij alle hotels in Funchal en bij de cruiseterminal. De start van de tour kan na het boeken worden bepaald, op basis van uw voorkeur of de aankomsttijd van de cruise. *Alleen ophalen in de regio Funchal. Voor ophalen buiten de regio van Funchal geldt een toeslag, laten we dit in een privébericht bespreken.

We had an AMAZING day with Diogo! Our family of 3 saw what felt like the entire island. We also learned so much about the local history and traditions, and saw so many beautiful, diverse landscapes. Diogo was super knowledgeable and engaging even for our 9-year old. He knew all the best stops for us to take some amazing photos. Everything was very smooth and flexible. We cannot recommend highly enough booking with Diogo while in Madeira.
We had three separate full day tours with Diogo and Ricardo who are brothers. They tailored our tours to meet our wishes. We wanted to have plenty of time to walk and experience the beauty of Madeira at our own pace. We wanted lunch in family-owned restaurants and no gift shops. They exceeded our expectations in every way. It was great to have a professional driver. Many of the secondary roads are steep, narrow and winding. It was very relaxing to sit back and enjoy the scenery while being chauffeured around. Another advantage of being in a small van was that we could get into places the buses couldn’t. All-in-all we could not think of a nicer way to experience the beauty of Madeira. We hope you enjoy their company as much as we did.
Diogo is an exceptional guide! His communication in booking and updates prior to our tour was prompt, detailed, and helpful. Diogo picked us up at our apartment in a very clean comfortable Mercedes taxi van--ample room for our group of 5 adults. The pace was perfect...we never felt rushed at any of the sites we visited. Diogo provided just the right amount of history, culture, nature so we could fully appreciate what we were seeing and experiencing without feeling overwhelmed with too much information. He skillfully navigated some very twisty roads--we felt safe and at ease. I would not hesitate to book Diogo on future trips. In fact, I would likely book him for the week next time--airport pick up/drop off, transfers to hiking trails, and of course, all the things we didn't see on this trip! Hiring a guide like Diogo instead of relying on Bolt/Uber/Buses, or renting a car makes sense. Reliable and professional, working with your preferred timeline, and no stress! 10/10
On our recent trip to Madeira we were greeted at the airport by Diogo’s brother, Ricardo, who waiting for us with a sign at the airport. He was friendly and welcoming and nice to deal with after a long flight from Toronto. While my husband and I love hiking and enjoyed many hikes in Madeira, we also took some down days where we chose to hire Diogo for 1.5 days- one day to tour Western Madeira and the other to go to Nun’s Valley which was beautiful and we were able to do an hour hike there. Diogo was professional, friendly, flexible with our schedule, and made great suggestions for us. He came highly recommended from some of our Canadian friends who had toured with him last year and we are so glad we booked with him. We learned lots and were able to relax in his comfy vehicle and let him navigate our route and the busy parking lots along the way. This took all the stress out of touring around! Thanks, Diogo!

He was very cognizant of our needs, and I would highly recommend him and the tour to anyone visiting the island and wanting to have a good time and experience it in the best possible way!
Our tour guide Diogo was amazing. We highly recommend this tour and asking for him. He provided us with a lot of information on the island of Madeira and Portugal. The areas that he took us to were beautiful. He was so easy to converse with.

Great experience with Diogo and Ricardo. Communication was great - timely and responsive even before we even set foot in Madeira, and till the morning before the trip started, as our family could not get ready in time. Diogo not only gave us a good overview of the development of the island, but also wove in personal stories. Absolutely will recommend these guys to anyone going to Madeira!
We had a fabulous day with Diogo- from start to finish. Minibus was clean & comfortable and we had complete trust in his driving- sometimes really narrow & tricky roads. He slowed or stopped to point out island's vegetation & points of interest & constantly gave us a commentary. He gave us plenty of time at every location. Highly recommend & ask for Diogo.
