Truly an extraordinary way to see the whole island highlights in one day. Carefully curated so your ahead of the crowds, allowed time to wander, take photos along the way. Better than I imagined. Luis explained things along the way, never rushed or hovered. He is native to Madeira and it shows the passion he has for this beautiful island. Hands down the best way to see the island in one day.
Our guide was very good and took us around entire island! We hit all the points that I was going to attempt to do as I originally was going to rent car. Every spot he dropped us off and was waiting when done. I highly recommend this tour….
We saw a lot of the Madeira in great comfort in 8 hours. Louis was very knowledgable about his island, a good driver, polite and spoke perfect English. He even bought us snacks.

Luís is an amazing tour guide! The trip around the Island was seamless and thoroughly enjoyable. He made extra stops for us to check out a rum factory and for lunch. He gave us a lovely picnic with local fares and water. His English was excellent and the history lessons were fantastic! Best tour ever! Highly recommend doing this!
The guide Luis was EXCELLENT from the first to the last minute! We had problems with our flight and we would have missed the ride if he hadn't been solidary and agreed to change the day. Our Madeira Island tour was absolutely unforgettable, and Luis was truly magnificent. From the moment we started, his knowledge, energy, and passion for the island made the entire experience feel personal and special. He showed us breathtaking viewpoints, beautiful hidden spots, and shared so much about Madeira’s culture and history along the way. What really set Luis apart was his thoughtfulness. When he learned I was celebrating my birthday, he surprised me with a bottle of champagne to take on my hike the next day so I could toast at the top. That kind of personal touch meant so much and made the experience even more memorable. Luis went above and beyond in every way. If you’re planning a tour in Madeira, request him specifically. This was easily one of the highlights of our entire trip. Highly recommended!
We fully recommend this tour with Luis he’s very knowledge about the island and the history, we spent a full day visiting breathtaking places and views, well organized and well planned, money well spent .
