Deze dagtocht langs de Kaap Westkust is echt een droom voor fotografen. De overvloedige fauna, flora en prachtige omgeving nodigen u uit voor een korte wandeling of een korte wandeling in het West Coast National Park. Sluit de dag af met sundowners terwijl u geniet van de Tafelberg vanaf het strand van Blouberg. Het is een tour van ontspanning in de ongelooflijk mooie parel aan de westkust van de Kaap. Tijdens het bloeiseizoen (aug - sept) is het landschap bedekt met een groot aantal kleuren, terwijl het unieke landschap het hele jaar door een contrast tussen wildernis en oceaan biedt. Deze privétour biedt u de flexibiliteit om te kiezen hoe lang u wilt doorbrengen in het West Coast National Park en wat u graag zou willen doen. Er zijn veel korte wandel- en wandelpaden; het detail en de schoonheid van dichtbij, vergezeld van de heerlijke geuren, zullen voor altijd bij je blijven. Voor de lunch heeft u de mogelijkheid om te kiezen tussen twee fantastische restaurants; een in het park, en de andere in de badplaats Langebaan. Aarzel niet om uw gids om zijn aanbeveling te vragen. Sluit de dag af met heerlijke zonsondergangen en geniet van het uitzicht op de Tafelberg en de Moederstad vanaf het strand van Blouberg. - reisroute - Nadat je bent opgehaald bij je accommodatie in Kaapstad, reis je in een comfortabele minivan, onderweg langs een boerderijkraam op de R27. Aangekomen bij het West Coast National Park, heb je ongeveer drie uur om te genieten van het park en de prachtige landschappen. Verken het koninkrijk van de vogelliefhebbers aan de azuurblauwe wateren van de Langebaan-lagune. Het strandveld barst in het voorjaar (aug-sept) uit in een tapijt van wilde bloemen, waar je ook dieren in het wild kunt spotten, zoals struisvogels, eland, bontebok, springbok en schildpadden.
Kies ervoor om langs de schilderachtige routes te rijden of wandel over de 4,6 kilometer lange Bakoor-route met uitzicht op de Langebaan-lagune. Je begint bij de Langebaan en neemt je mee naar het Seeberg View Point - een ideale plek om enkele van de zeldzamere vogelsoorten in het park te spotten, waaronder de Curlow Sandpiper, Sanderling en Knot. Als alternatief neemt de 7 kilometer lange Geelbek-route je helemaal naar het strand.
Voor de lunch (optioneel extra), kies tussen een verblijf in het park of doorgaan naar de schilderachtige badplaats Langebaan. Als u in het park wilt blijven, dineert u in restaurant Geelbek, gevestigd in een oud gebouw in Kaap-Holland, met een scala aan traditionele delicatessen aan de westkust. Als je wat meer wilt verkennen en wilt genieten van een omgeving aan zee, is een lunch in het restaurant van Pearly in het charmante vissersdorp Langebaan een must. Dit rustieke restaurant ligt aan het hoofdstrand van Langebaan en biedt uitzicht op de lagune. Het biedt heerlijke verse zeevruchten, pizza en pasta. De reis terug naar uw accommodatie in Kaapstad wordt afgebroken met een stop voor zonsondergang op Blouberg Beach. Dit is de ideale plek om dat iconische beeld van Kaapstad te maken, met de Tafelberg als majestueuze achtergrond. Vanaf hier kunt u vroeg in de avond terugkomen.

A very relaxing trip to the West Coast National Park. Took a nice easy hike through the park seeing numerous Elands and early flower blooms. Great lunch at a local seaside town. Saw Ostriches and giraffes in the park and along the drive. Excellent, pleasant and caring guide Denver made it quite a special day. Great!

We had a great time exploring the West Coast National Park, visiting Langebaan for lunch, and capping the trip with coffee/cocktails at the Blue Peter Hotel in Cape Town. Gerhard, our tour guide, was very informative and knowledgeable. Our first stop was breakfast at the West Coast farm stall for coffee and rusks. It was our first taste of rusks. We loved it. At the park, we were lucky to spot a herd of Elands by the road. We had a close-up view. We saw a family of Ostriches. We took a 2 km hike of the Bakoor trail and spotted a turtle (Angulate Tortoise). Neat. We had great pics of the scenic coast and lagoon. Thanks Gerhard!

It’s a bit of a long drive, but if you’d like to walk/hike, it has wonderful options. We took one 7 km hike that was in land. We recommend you take any hike that is on the coast because it would be more scenic. We enjoyed our hike because we felt like we were on the plains of Africa, but at the same time we were in the West Coast for a reason to see the coast. Later, we spent some time on the beach and that was very nice. our Guide TK was incredibly insightful, intelligent, sensitive, gentle, and totally amazing. We were so blessed to have had him as our guide. Thank you, TK!

This Tour exceeded all expectations. Gerhard, our guide was amazing. He was very professional, informative and friendly. We saw the magnificent wildflowers and plenty of animals and we had a beautiful lunch and a lovely sundowner at the end of the tour. Oh and we were given a lovely ‘penguin’ support bracelet which we wore our whole tour. It is nice knowing I’m some of our $$ are going to a great Cause. We highly recommend this Tour.

The tour of Westcose National Park was amazing, just filled with flowers as far as the eye could see, and it was also great to see so many endemic wild animals, birds and plants of South Africa. Just very unfortunately, $200 disappeared from my wallet while I was on tour. I noticed that I didn't spend any cash there, only my card, and when I got home to my hotel I didn't have $200. I left the bag in the car for just five minutes. Everyone around you thinks you're a thief, so be careful!
Dear Akiko, thank you for sharing your wonderful tour experience - we’re so pleased to hear that you enjoyed the incredible scenery and wildlife that made the experience so special. However, we were truly shocked to hear about this unreported incident regarding the missing money. We take matters like this seriously and have thoroughly investigated the situation internally. According to our guide, who has worked with Hotspots2c for many years with an impeccable track record, the vehicle was always locked during the tour. He has successfully guided over 4,000 guests without any previous incidents of this nature. We reached out to assist you in logging this case with the police and the national park, but have not received any feedback to assist. We would gladly continue to help with any investigation into the missing funds should you wish to report it for your personal insurance. It is unfortunate (and unfair) that this incident of the missing money was not brought up with us directly or the guide during or after the tour. As the case was not communicated to us directly it was not easy to follow up quicker. According to our findings there is a large possibility that the money could have also been misplaced or lost at another point in time. We are delighted that you loved the tour regardless and our tour guide also enjoyed taking photos and videos while enjoying the wild flowers in spring time too. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if we can be of further assistance.
I booked this day trip from Cape Town as my husband and I love nature and wanted to see the fynbos. I couldn't recommend this trip enough. We went in September which was the perfect time for the flowers and our wonderful guide Gerhald took us to a local farm shop, some fantastic bird watching and animal observing spots throughout the national park. Gerhald was really knowledgeable and took his time with us so we never felt rushed. We were lucky to see so much wildlife and a beautiful sunset on the way back into Cape Town. It was really worth saving up for and will be a day we remember forever.

Great day exploring the West Coast National Park and surrounding areas with our fabulous guide Gerdhard, who was very informative/knowledgeable about the area. He took us to a quaint farm stall for morning coffee and rusks, then onto zebra spot within the National Park. Blossom season in full bloom and lots of time to explore which was great, then onto Pearly’s in Langabaan for a bite to eat (great food) then sundowners watching the sunset on Table Mountain. A really enjoyable and relaxing day.
