Hallo daar! Ik ben uw lokale Kaapstad Gids, en ik kan niet wachten om u mee te nemen op deze tour want ik heb veel verhalen over de Kaap van goede hoop die ik graag met u wil delen. Je wordt opgehaald bij je hotel voordat we naar Bo-Kaap gaan, waar de felgekleurde huizen verhalen vertellen over het rijke culturele verleden van Kaapstad. Van daaruit gaan we langs een van 's werelds mooiste kustroutes. Verwacht adembenemende uitzichten terwijl we langzaam onze weg naar Kaap de Goede Hoop vinden. Dit gebied maakt deel uit van 's werelds rijkste plantenfamilie en optionele wandelingen worden u aangeboden. We zullen ook een paar charmante badplaatsen verkennen. In Hout Bay heeft u de mogelijkheid om een korte boottocht te maken naar Duiker Island om de Cape Fur Seals te zien. Vervolgens ontmoeten we in Simon’s Town de beroemde Afrikaanse pinguïns op Boulders Beach. Op de terugweg naar Kaapstad passeren we, afhankelijk van de verkeersstroom, Muizenberg Beach, bekend om zijn kleurrijke strandhutten en surfvibe, voordat we de dag afsluiten bij je hotel.

Kort na het begin van de tour, voordat we de stad verlaten voor de kust. We krijgen de gelegenheid om een korte stop te maken in de historische Bo-Kaap om de felgekleurde huizen te zien en haar lange geschiedenis te ontdekken. Je gids leidt je rond terwijl je foto's maakt en leert over de geschiedenis van deze buurt.
Genesteld aan de voet van de Lion's Head Mountain is een welgestelde buitenwijk genaamd Bantry Bay. Bantry Bay staat bekend om zijn windvrije status en heeft meer dan 250 dagen geen wind per jaar, wat een groot deel is in Kaapstad gezien het winderige klimaat van de moederstad.
Hoog op de berghelling ligt een andere weelderige wijk genaamd Clifton. Naast het dure onroerend goed, staat Clifton ook bekend om de beste stranden in de buurt van Kaapstad. De vier stranden van Clifton die van nature in 4 zijn verdeeld door granieten rotsblokken.
Zie de prachtige Beverly heuvels van Kaapstad genaamd Camps Bay. Stop even om foto’s te maken en te genieten van het uitzicht van de Twaalf Apostelen.
Op 15 minuten van Camps Bay ligt Hout Bay. Een stad die wordt omringd door de bergen en de koude Atlantische Oceaan. Alle wegen die hier het verkeer leiden, gaan over bergpassen. Heb er geen spijt van dat je je paspoort achterlaat als er een bordje "Welkom in de republiek Houtbaai" verschijnt!
Onze reis duurt een uur in de haven van Hout Bay, waar u op een boot kunt stappen en een schilderachtige reis van 40 minuten kunt maken naar een eiland dat wordt bewoond door meer dan 5000 Kaapse pelsrobben. U zult de zeehonden vanaf de boot zien en als u de boottocht misschien niet wilt maken, kunt u wat tijd besteden aan het verkennen van de ambachtelijke markt of zelfs 10 minuten lopen naar Hout Bay Beach. Houd er rekening mee dat deze optionele extra een extra uur aan de tour kan toevoegen.
Als we Hout Bay verlaten, rijden we de wereldberoemde Chapman's Peak Drive op. Een bergzijweg die plaatselijk bekend staat als Chapies. Een technisch meesterwerk! De Chapman's Peak Drive slingert 9 km langs de gigantische Chapman's Peak-bergen die als een lawine in de oceaan lijken te vallen. Je hebt ook de gelegenheid om te stoppen voor foto's en te genieten van het uitzicht op de Atlantische oceaan, de kliffen en de witte zandstranden.
Aan de zuidkant van de Chapman's Peak Drive ligt een boerendorp in de Noordhoek. De witgekalkte gebouwen met rieten daken fungeren als winkels die handelen als winkels voor rauwe sappen, coffeeshops, bakkerijen, restaurants, handgemaakte ambachtswinkels en kledingwinkels. Een korte stop om te genieten van een aantal van deze zal u worden aangeboden.
Slechts 200 meter voor het natuurreservaat Kaappunt is een struisvogelboerderij waar gasten langs de weg kunnen stoppen en foto's kunnen maken van de grootste vogel van Afrika.
Het natuurreservaat Kaappunt herbergt de meest zuidwestelijke hoek van Afrika (Kaap de goede hoop). De rijke fauna en flora maken van deze plek een hotspot voor biodiversiteit. U kunt genieten van het uitzicht terwijl u comfortabel in de auto zit of zelfs te voet.
Beroemde de hoek van Afrika. Waar de Koude Atlantische Oceaan en de Indische Oceaan gemeenschappelijke gronden delen. De Kaap de Goede Hoop is echter slechts het meest Zuidwestelijke punt van Afrika. Wandelpaden naar de top van de Kaap zorgt voor geweldige activiteit en sightseeing. Het Kaap de Goede Hoop-bord is ook een andere grote attractie. Mogelijke verschillende wandelroutes worden u vanaf hier aangeboden door uw gids.
Loop of neem een kabelbaan (op eigen kosten) naar de 3e oudste vuurtoren van Zuid-Afrika voor een 360 graden uitzicht over het nationale park. De oude vuurtoren werd gelanceerd in 1860 maar werd pas 40 jaar buiten gebruik gesteld en tientallen scheepswrakken te laat nadat studies hadden aangetoond dat de grote hoogte een groot gevaar vormde voor zeilers rond de kaap, omdat ze hem niet konden zien bij bewolkt weer. Een nieuwe vuurtoren werd sindsdien gebouwd op een veel lagere hoogte.
Nog een rustig en welvarend stadje aan de kustlijn van de False Bay. Het victoriaans gebouwde Simon's stadje is de thuisbasis van enkele van de meest verse visrestaurants en waar je een uur kunt stoppen om wat te lunchen (de gids kan ervoor kiezen om te lunchen op Cape Point, afhankelijk van hoe de tour verloopt)
Boulders Beach Penguin Colony is de thuisbasis van duizenden van de bedreigde smoking zwemmers, de Afrikaanse pinguïn! Hier wandel je over het strand en maak je close-up foto’s van een van onze vliegloze vogels. Je gids zal je ook informatie geven over de actualiteit van de pinguïn.
Muizenberg Beach staat ook wel bekend als "The surfers corner". Felgekleurde wisselende hutten op het strand zorgen voor een geweldige fotoshoot. Mits we tijd hebben en de verkeersstroom redelijk is, kunt u uw laatste stop houden voordat de motoren naar het noorden sturen voor Kaapstad om een geweldige sightseeingdag af te sluiten.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Ons doel is om de tour om 08.00 uur te starten. Daarom worden de ophaalmomenten iets eerder gepland om stiptheid te garanderen. U hoeft geen contact met ons op te nemen om te informeren naar de ophaaltijd van uw groepsreis. U kunt echter rekenen op een ophaaltijd tussen 07.30 uur en 08.00 uur. Ons efficiënte operationele team zal proactief vóór 18.00 uur op de voorafgaande dag van de tour contact met u opnemen om u de exacte ophaaltijd voor de volgende ochtend te geven. Zorg ervoor dat je toegang hebt tot je WhatsApp of e-mail, aangezien de ophaaltijd via een van deze kanalen wordt gecommuniceerd.

We had a wonderful day with the guide Candy and the driver Litha. They took good care of us and showed us many beautiful places. The two main attractions were Cape of good hope and Boulder Beach. The trip was exciting thanks to frequent short stops at nice places. In addition, we also learned a lot of intering facts and history about Cape Town and South Africa in general. This tour is highly recommended.
If you're sitting on this, book it! I'm not usually a tour person, but I'm so glad I did this. Not only was our guide, Peter, great, but the trip to the Cape was also a highlight of my travels. Even with periods of rain/fog, it was worth it (good moody vibes). There were three solo travelers on the tour, and I would recommend it for other solo female travelers. I do not think you could safely do everything on this tour as a single woman without the group element. If you plan to do the Cape lighthouse hike, wear shoes with good tread. Bring a rain jacket and snacks. Enjoy!

The tour brings you nicely to the Cape with enough stops along the way. At the Cape you have little hiking choices. My highlights of the day were the Boulders Beach and a 45min hike at the Cape with beautiful sights.

This tour exceeded every expectation. Our guide Candy was a lovely spirit — warm, friendly, and full of knowledge at every stop, and she made a group of strangers feel like travel companions by the end of the day.
