In Salento bieden we deze 3 ervaringen voor u in slechts één dag. 1. In de vroege ochtend ga je naar de Cocora Valley, waar je onder de hoogste waspalmen op de planeet zult ronddwalen en de berghelling opklimt om de mystieke wolken in de lucht te ontmoeten. 2. Later op de middag bezoekt u een van de mooiste koffie-fincas in Colombia en ontdekt u het koffieproces en leert u de beste geheimen van het maken van geweldige Colombiaanse koffie. 3. Om het derde deel van je ervaring te voltooien, ga je door de boeiende straten van Salento, door de kleurrijke hoofdstraat, het plein (het plein) en bekijk je de beste sites.

Deze ochtend begin je je dag met een aantal prachtige uitzichten vanaf de Salento Mirador (Lookout), en een blik naar beneden in de vallei waar je snel doorheen zult gaan.
Vervolgens maak je een uitstapje naar de weelderige Cocora-vallei en een rondleiding door het Wax Palm Forest. Deze vallei is op zichzelf al spectaculair, maar in combinatie met het bos gevuld met de hoogste waspalmen ter wereld, wordt het een bijna spirituele ervaring. Je kunt een paar uur wandelen door deze rustige zone met mooiere uitzichten in alle richtingen.
Nadat je bent gestopt voor een heerlijke lunch, ga je verder op een sensationele koffietour. Dit is een van de beste koffietours in Colombia en dus heel uniek. De reden hiervoor is de filosofie van deze alleenstaande eigenaresse. Ze heeft een Finca gecreëerd die volledig vrij is van pesticiden en machines. Elk onderdeel van het hele proces wordt met de hand gedaan en hiermee ontdek je de traditionele methoden om de perfecte koffieboon te kweken. Je kunt deze prachtige Finca ook verkennen en ontdekken dat hier zoveel meer dan alleen koffie wordt verbouwd, zoals een grote verscheidenheid aan fruit. Je leert het volledige proces van het zaadje tot het kopje, inclusief het zelf met de hand plukken van een paar bonen.

Gustavo our guide and Aljandro our driver were a great team. We enjoyed the tour especially the part in the rainforest. Gustavo is very knowledgeable and explained everything regarding flowers, wildlife and nature. He is also a very friendly guy. The lunch he recommended was great. The Coffe tour at Luger Coffee farm was also very interesting especially the privat experience to go into the plantation and roasting our own coffee! Thanks Gustavo!

We enjoyed our trip with Richard so much! He picked us up on his car right in front of our hotel, and we had a private ride for the whole day. And the day was full of wonders :) We visited Cocora Wax palms Valley (the views are amazing), a waterfall (with two top guides :), we had a delicious pizza for lunch, and after all - coffee tour in a charming farm. Going to Cocora is just great! Because it´s cheap, it´s beautiful. With the most beautiful mountains in Colombia and fun activities to enjoy. You can walk to the river or ride a hourse : ) If you like to enjoy the beauti of nature or just take a break, this is the best option for you° : )

We walked the short loop in the park, which was a magical experience. Our guide Andres told us lots about the history of the region. It was very educative. After Cocora we headed back to Salento for a delicious traditional lunch. We had a wonderful time hearing all insider tips of our guide. Of course after a good meal you take a good cup of coffee. In Finca El Ocaso we made our own cup of coffee. Interesting way to learn about the number 1 drink of the world. We concluded with Tejo. Soon realizing we weren't good at it, but had lots of fun. Trip totally recommended!
