Wat ons uniek maakt is het feit dat wij de enige gidsen zijn die in dit gebied van El Yunque actief zijn. We doen alleen kleine groepen in kleine voertuigen. Geen enorme 14-28 passagiersbussen. Deze tour bezoekt een verborgen, afgelegen en ‘geheim’ deel van El Yunque. Deze tour gaat NIET naar de “glijbanen”. Dit is geen toeristische plek en je kunt deze plekken niet alleen vinden. We zullen vrijwel zeker de enige mensen in de omgeving zijn. Deze dagtocht is gegarandeerd het hoogtepunt van Ga met ons mee om een pad buiten de gebaande paden te verkennen. Deze wandeling gaat naar gebieden in El Yunque die vrij ongerept zijn, wat betekent dat de menselijke interactie in het gebied minimaal is , heel anders dan alle andere gebieden. Het gebied is ook rijk aan geschiedenis, wat je tijdens de rit zult leren. De rit is adembenemend mooi en het regenwoud nog meer. Deze tour omvat rivierovergangen, blauwe poelen met ongerept water en klifspringen en avontuur voor iedereen. Mis het niet!

We ontmoeten elkaar in Condado en rijden verder naar het hart van het eiland naar El Yunque Rainforest. Na ongeveer een uur komen we aan bij het meest ongerepte, mooiste en betoverende bos dat je ooit hebt gezien. Omringd door tropisch bos, slingert de rivier de Espiritu Santo zich een weg door de vallei. We volgen de rivier ongeveer een uur. Onderweg zijn er tal van natuurlijke zwembaden waar we kunnen stoppen. Wanneer we het einde van onze wandeling bereiken, bevindt u zich ondergedompeld in de natuur, volledig in vrede met uw omgeving. Aan het einde bereiken we een waterval die uitmondt in een zeer grote poel. Voor deze wandeling is een goede fysieke conditie vereist.

Great views , refreshing water , excellent tour guide - company was called ‘ I work where you vacation’
The hike is not really a hike...its more of a climbing scramble over slippery rocks into cold pools and some murky creeks and waterfalls. Id give a 3 1/2 stars to be fair but theres no halves. Our guide was 5 Stars...he accomodated our level of ability to hard scramble on the wet rocks. The Trip Advisor description does say peopl 55 and older may be unable to do the hike (which seems like an arbitrary age) but eventhough it is a very difficult "hike" (it has a 4 or Very Difficult Trail Rating on All Trails) the Trip Advisor description and company should have it in plain sight in the first paragraph. One big disappointment was when I messaged the tour company the day before after reading that it was a "difficult hike" expressing my concern about this and asking what equipment we may need (THE TOUR COMPANY PROVIDES NO HELMETS, NO TRAINING) the company was very casual and just said to bring hiking shoes and water shoes. Spoiler Alert: You definitely want one or the other or some specialised water/hiking hybrid footwear as scrambling up these boulders and slimy rocks will get your head split open or a broken arm/leg. We could only manage an hour of the supposed 3 hour hike...so I insisted later they refund us half our money which they did without problem.
Had an amazing time hiking through El Yunque National Forest! Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, and you could tell he truly grew up around the rainforest from the way he explained the history, nature, and hidden spots along the way. He took us to several beautiful areas deeper into the forest that we never would’ve found on our own, and he also took some really great photos for us throughout the hike. Such an authentic and memorable experience — highly recommend! 🌿💦📸
My daughters and I loved this rainforest hike! It’s not for the faint of heart. At times, you’re literally climbing up steep hills, grabbing onto exposed tree roots, and making your way over rocks and streams. The small falls at the top was beautiful, and we enjoyed swimming in the cool freshwater pool. Our guide, Kenyon, was friendly, helpful, and taught us a little about the rainforest and our surroundings. We look forward to trying more excursions in the future.
I had such an amazing time! This excursion takes you to beautiful waterfalls with not many people. Fabiola was such an amazing guide and shared a lot of information about Yunque. This was a special experience and a must do when visiting the main island.
We had Sean as our tour guide and it was the best experience I have ever had on a tour. He was kind, knowledgeable, and really made sure we got the most out of the experience. It was just him, my fiancé, and I, and we explored the most beautiful scenery and had so much time to swim and take it all in. We also had great conversation. It was incredible.
Our guide was Shawn and he was awesome! He showed us so much and we really enjoyed the experience. I would recommend Shawn to anyone.

Super friendly guide and nice quiet area. Not as much of a hike, more of a rock scramble and swim, but really fun for both kids and adults
