Ontdek het verleden en heden van Zagreb tijdens een kleine groepswandeling onder leiding van een Expert lokale Gids. De tour begint in het Zrinjevac-park tegenover het meteorologische station. Dit is een klein display dat de temperatuur en luchtdruk aan de noordkant van het park weergeeft. Krijg een inleiding tot de rijke geschiedenis van de Kroatische hoofdstad, die teruggaat tot de middeleeuwen, tijdens een begeleide wandeling van 2,5 uur.
Ontdek het Grote Plein – Jelacic-plein, een populair ontmoetingspunt voor alle lokale bewoners, het hart van de stad waar je leert hoe Zagreb zijn naam kreeg.
De kathedraal van Zagreb is het monumentale en zeer indrukwekkende neogotische gebouw dat adembenemend is.
Ga naar de grootste boerenmarkt van Kroatië – Dolac, en voel de drukte (de Dolac-markt is gesloten voor een middagtour). Ontdek het standbeeld van Kumica en leer meer over de Kroatische keuken.
Je route brengt je naar de levendige Tkalciceva-straat, beter bekend als de barstraat, waar altijd een gestage stroom mensen is. Luister naar de filosofie van loungen en de koffiecultuur in Kroatië.
Bezoek de Gric-tunnel die tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd gebouwd (kan af en toe gesloten zijn vanwege evenementen).
De kortste kabelbaan ter wereld is het oudste middel van openbaar vervoer in de stad dat de inwoners van Zagreb al bijna 135 jaar vreugde brengt. Zagreb kabelbaan gesloten wegens renovatie tot maart 2026.
De machtige Lotrscak-toren herbergt het Gric-kanon dat elke dag om 12.00 uur opstijgt om de middag te markeren.
De bovenstad (Gradec) is een van de twee middeleeuwse nederzettingen die Zagreb vormden. Geniet van de charme en harmonie van de Strossmayer-promenade, de beste plek voor een panoramisch uitzicht op de daken van Zagreb, leer meer over het Museum van verbroken relaties, ontdek de zetels van het Kroatische parlement en de regering en de Sint-Marcuskerk die beroemd is om zijn kleurrijke dak.
Loop door de Stenen Poort, de enige middeleeuwse stadspoort die tot op de dag van vandaag bewaard is gebleven. Binnen is er een kleine kapel met de wonderbaarlijke afbeelding van Onze-Lieve-Vrouw, de patroonheilige van Zagreb. Sluit uw rondleiding af op het Grote Plein, waar altijd wel iets gebeurt en waar u afscheid neemt van uw gids.

Very enjoyable walk in this picturesque city. The park is lovely. Enjoyed the markets, WW2 tunnels and the shortest Funicular ride. The canon firing was a highlight. We were lucky to have cooler weather for the day.
