Ontsnap een dag aan Zagreb en ontdek twee van Sloveniës meest geliefde bestemmingen, het bruisende Ljubljana en het sprookjesachtige meer van Bled, tijdens een ontspannen avontuur met kleine groepen. Met maximaal 8 gasten biedt deze tour een meer persoonlijke ervaring en meer aandacht van uw Gids. Reizen in een comfortabele minivan met airconditioning betekent ook snellere reistijden dan grote bustours, waardoor u meer tijd heeft om van de bestemmingen te genieten. Geniet in Ljubljana van een 1 uur durende begeleide wandeltocht gevolgd door ongeveer 2 uur vrije tijd om in uw eigen tempo te verkennen. Lunch aan de rivier, dwaal door de charmante straatjes, bezoek het kasteel of geniet gewoon van de sfeer. Bij Lake Bled heb je ongeveer 2,5 uur vrije tijd, genoeg voor de traditionele pletna boottocht en Bled Castle als je dat wilt. Liever een langzamer tempo? Wandel rond het meer, ontspan met roomtaart, geniet van het landschap of zwem in de zomer. Geen vast schema, alleen de vrijheid om op jouw manier van Bled te genieten.

Uw avontuur begint in Zagreb met het ophalen van een van de 14 handige locaties in het bredere stadscentrum. Ophaaltijd is gepland tussen 8 - 9 uur. Wij zijn gespecialiseerd in kleine groepservaringen, wat betekent dat u reist in een comfortabele minibus met maximaal 8 gasten. Hierdoor kunnen we sneller en efficiënter reizen dan grote tourbussen, zowel op de weg als bij het oversteken van de grens naar Slovenië. Minder tijd in transit betekent meer tijd om te genieten van de bestemmingen zelf. Het betekent ook een meer persoonlijke, vriendelijke ervaring met uw Gids gedurende de dag. Na ongeveer anderhalf uur rijden is uw eerste stop de charmante hoofdstad Ljubljana.
Deze tour biedt een uitgebalanceerde combinatie van een begeleide ervaring en vrije tijd in Ljubljana. Tijdens een wandeltocht van een uur door de oude stad ontdek je de belangrijkste hoogtepunten van de stad en hoor je de essentiële verhalen erachter. U ziet de iconische Tromostovje (drievoudige brug), waar elegante architectuur van Jože Plečnik de historische en moderne delen van de stad verbindt, evenals de prachtige Ljubljana-kathedraal met zijn kenmerkende groene koepel en rijk versierde interieur. Neem een traditionele Pletna-boot naar Bled Island en bezoek de charmante St. Mary's Church, verken het historische Bled Castle met zijn adembenemende uitzichten, wandel of fiets rond het meer, of koel af met een duik tijdens de warme zomermaanden. En natuurlijk, mis de kans niet om een pauze in te lassen en jezelf te trakteren op de beroemde "kremšnita" roomtaart - een perfecte manier om je onvergetelijke Bled-ervaring te omlijsten.
Dit sprookjesachtige kasteel is prachtig van buiten, maar naar binnen stappen biedt een nog grotere beloning — Een adembenemend panoramisch uitzicht op het hele meer, perfect voor onvergetelijke foto's. Het kasteel ligt hoog op een klif boven het meer van Bled en biedt niet alleen een kijkje in de rijke geschiedenis van de regio, maar biedt ook een van de meest spectaculaire uitzichtpunten in Slovenië.

We had a fantastic time with Dom and learnt so much about Zagreb, Lake Bled and Ljubljana. It wasn't the best of days with the weather (a bit cold, rainy and cloudy), but we made the most of it with Dom suggesting we went to Lake Bled first, then finishing the day with Ljubljana. This worked in our favour, where we eventually enjoyed Ljubljana in the sunshine. Highly recommend this tour, plenty of time on your own to explore and enough information to learn something about the amazing places you visit.

The guide is very helpful in arranging it according to the situation and wishes. The climb from the car park to the entrance to Bled Castle is steep. But even though it was cloudy, the view was great. Exhibits, letterpress and wine tasting are all there to enjoy. My guide Dan spoke slowly and clearly in English, which was fun even for me, who was not good at English. Thank you very much.

The small-group experience like this is definitely preferable to going with a busload of people. We had a knowledgeable guide/driver, and a friendly group in the van. Insider tip related to Ljubljana: in addition to the shops, check out the local vendors at the farmers market and lined up along the water by the triple bridge, across from the pink church. Insider tip related to Bled Island: If you don't want to go up (or down) the 99 stone steps to the church, there is a sloped path you can take instead just to the right of the stairs closest to the boat dock. At the top, next to the church, you'll find a little cafe with ice cream and Slovenian cakes, a souvenir shop, and restrooms/WCs. There's no cost to go to the top! You might want to bring a backpack or canvas bag for carrying the items you are likely to buy while in Ljubljana, and consider buying/bringing a snack for the 2- to 2.5-hour drive back to Zagreb.

There was a lot of travel but we knew there would be so that was no problem at all. The mini bus was comfortable and the other travelers were great to meet and get to know so we really enjoyed the time travelling. Our guide was a happy, chatty, knowledgeable young man. Great host for the day. We really enjoyed our tour, it was everything we hoped for. Unfortunately it rained in Bled so walking around the lake wasn’t so enjoyable. But overall the day was very enjoyable.

Fantastic tour! We had Dom as our tour guide and he was great! Very easy to talk to and get along with. He even let us add an activity to the itinerary that was not on the schedule as long as we all agreed as a group. You will definitely see some beautiful sights on this excursion
