Verken de weelderige palmoases van de Indian Canyons tijdens deze 3-uur durende ecotour vanuit Palm Springs in de ochtend of middag. Leer meer over de rijke geschiedenis en cultuur van de Cahuilla-indianen terwijl je met je deskundige gids in een jeep over hun voorouderlijke thuisland rijdt. Maak een gemakkelijke begeleide wandeling van 1,6 km door Andreas Canyon voor een betoverend uitzicht en bekijk een prachtige palmoase vanaf de rand van Palm Canyon. Dit openluchtavontuur in kleine groepen is beperkt tot zeven personen per jeep voor een meer ontspannen, intieme ervaring.

Klim aan boord van een Big Red Jeeps voor een bezoek aan het voorouderlijk huis van de Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indianen, waar prachtige rotsformaties en het contrasterende groen van prachtige waaierpalmen en meer dan 150 plantensoorten reizigers naar deze weelderige palmoases lokken. - Schoenen met een gesloten neus, een hoed en zonnebrandcrème worden sterk aanbevolen
- Omdat woestijntemperaturen kunnen variëren, zou dressing in lagen aangeraden moeten worden
- Bel de reserveringsdesk een dag of twee voor uw tour om uw ophaaltijd en locatie te bevestigen. Als u niet belt, leidt dit NIET tot annulering van de tour.
- Elke jeep biedt plaats aan maximaal 7 gasten plus je chauffeur/gids
- Gasten moeten minimaal anderhalve kilometer kunnen lopen over soms oneffen terrein.

Fun leisurely tour of India Canyons. Christopher is a true naturalist was so knowledgeable about the history of the region. We would recommend this tour for other families too!
Jennie was simply awesome. She took 6 adults on this tour on 12/31 and it was great. She is so knowledgeable but, more importantly, she is so genuinely interested in the area we hiked, the foliage, the history, and the culture. She was able to bring the area to life for us and help us understand the past and the present. The first hike was about a mile - you need sturdy shoes but it is not extremely rigorous and is suitable for all ages. The second hike was shorter and involved some basic bouldering which you can opt out of if you feel it is beyond your comfort zone. We feel fortunate to have been able to spend a little bit of time in Indian Canyon. Thanks!

Indian Canyons was a super excursion. The oasis in the desert needs to be seen if you are in the Palm Springs area. Jim was super knowledgable and solicitous. I would recommend to anyone but especially older folks with more limited mobility.
Great tour, guide was very knowledgeable. There was a lot to see on the trails and the scenery was beautiful. Highly recommended.

We had a great trip. Although there was a snag. Our trip with the red Jeep was scheduled for 1pm. They received reservation at 8am. When they called because we late. I told them we had confirmation at 1pm. They scrambled and took good care of us. We had a great trip

A fun trip with an amazing guide. Travis gave us great information during the Jeep tour and the hike. My teen children were fascinated and said “it was not boring at all!” (If you have teens, you KNOW THIS IS A GREAT COMPLIMENT). Travis gave us good restaurant recommendations. I have no hesitation in recommending them!!

We had a great time. Learned lots about Palm Springs history, native Indians, geography and flora and fauna. It was a ton of fun and very interesting.
My wife set up our trip to the red Jeep tours so I didn’t really know what to expect. One thing is for sure, I didn’t expect that our guide and driver, Rick, would be teaching me so much about the area and its people in just a three hour time frame. I felt like I learned more during this trip than some of my college classes. We saw canyons that are truly fitting of Hollywood movies, it was impressive. I even have to admit my back wasn’t feeling great from the shenanigans the day before, but I made it through just fine, our driver knew what he was doing. I love to learn and have a little adventure, and this definitely checked both boxes. Thank you again Rick!!
