Maak een spannende rit door Joshua Tree National Park in een comfortabele openlucht Hummer. Let op : deze tour is niet beschikbaar in december–februari vanwege ijskoude hoge temperaturen. Neem tijdens deze maanden onze Joshua Tree Scenic Tour in ons verwarmde busje. Het is vaak 20-30 ° F koeler in het park - kleed je in lagen! Vertrek om 8:30 uur uit het Palm Springs Art Museum (met een schilderachtige shuttlerit met airconditioning) of bespaar met ons Yucca Valley Welcome Center vertrek waar het openluchtgedeelte begint. Onze shuttlebus brengt je naar de stad Joshua Tree waar we ruilen voor onze H - 1 Military Hummer om je avontuur compleet te maken. We klimmen naar de top van een adembenemend uitzicht genaamd Keys Point die u een prachtig uitzicht op de vallei beneden en een uitzicht dat zich uitstrekt tot Mexico zal geven.
Vergaap je aan een uitzicht dat zich honderden kilometers uitstrekt. Vanaf dit hoogste punt in Joshua Tree kun je op een heldere dag zo ver kijken als de Salton Sea en helemaal tot aan Mexico. Misschien kun je zelfs je hotel onderscheiden op deze helling die grenst aan de beroemde San Andreas-breuk. Kijk onder deze richel waar we zullen stoppen en je zult de breuklijn zelf zien die zich over meer dan 800 mijl uitstrekt.
We bieden een optionele wandeling van een kilometer over dit uitzicht dat slingert door adembenemende schoonheid, waaronder de monzo-granietformaties van Joshua Tree en bossen van deze oude planten die de ijstijd hebben overleefd. Je Hummer-gids zal je door dit gebied begeleiden en hij is een gecertificeerde Wilderness-gids die is opgeleid in de geologie van dit gebied en zich bewust is van de recentere Indiaanse geschiedenis.
Dit biedt je een extra optionele wandeling van een halve mijl die je rond onzekere rotsformaties leidt die op elkaar balanceren. Dit is een van de meest gefotografeerde gebieden in het park en zeker een bezoekje waard. Vergeet uw camera's niet!

One of the best tours I have never been on. Austin was awesome, he had great communication, was on time, had amazing recommendations, and was extremely knowledgeable! He was also super friendly and a great driver! Joshua tree was beautiful and we got lucky with the weather, making it a perfect day out in the desert. The hummer was so comfy and a blast to be in. Book this immediately!

What a beautiful place to spend the morning! The park is amazing and truly a testament of God's creation. Our tour guide, Tom, was the best. Our driver, Tom, was excellent. Had some very informative facts about Joshua Tree, national Park and the area in general. The Hummer itself was okay, but my wife and I ended up picking the worst two seats to have. I asked Dave off to the side if we could maybe switch around some at some point and he said sure. Sure enough, later in the trip he said we should switch up seats so we got a better view for the last half. We went on an easy nature walk during the trip and had a chance to do a little bit of walking around on some of the cooler rock formations. Definitely worth the effort to take this trip.

This was a great tour and adventure. Austin made the rides to and from, as well as the tour itself, informative, engaging and enjoyable. It was nice to stop at the visitor center as well. The stops on the tour were amazing, and Austin was a wealth of information.

There were 9 of us in the open air Hummer and, given the time it takes to get inside the park, the actual tour was a bit over 2 hours. So I felt the cost was high ($179). The tour guide was quite knowledgeable and pleasant. When I question him regarding the southern end of the San Andreas Fault, however, his answer wasn’t accurate (as I looked it up later). The tour also felt rushed at times. The sights were lovely and more time for pictures, questions, etc. would have increased the value. Overall, I am glad I went but don’t know that I would recommend this tour unless the price was under $135 or so.
