Ontsnap aan de drukke straten van Marrakech en ervaar de authentieke schoonheid van het Hoge Atlasgebergte tijdens een begeleid wandelavontuur onder leiding van een ervaren lokale berg Gids. Deze unieke ervaring combineert natuur, cultuur en avontuur. Wandel door schilderachtige bergpaden en traditionele Berberdorpen, terwijl u geniet van een adembenemend panoramisch uitzicht op valleien en de omliggende toppen, waaronder de beroemde berg Toubkal (4167m), de hoogste berg van Noord-Afrika. In tegenstelling tot standaard tours, kunt u met deze wandeling het echte leven van de Berbergemeenschappen ontdekken, wandelen over rustige bergpaden en genieten van een traditionele zelfgemaakte lunch met een lokale Berberfamilie met uitzicht op de prachtige Mizane-vallei. Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Ophalen is mogelijk bij hotels en riads in Marrakech. Reizigers worden ongeveer 30 minuten voor aanvang van de activiteit opgehaald. Als uw accommodatie zich in de Medina bevindt en niet bereikbaar is met de auto, regelen we een ontmoetingspunt in de buurt op loopafstand. Het standaard ontmoetingspunt is voor Hotel Tazi, gelegen nabij het Djemaa el-Fna-plein. Onze chauffeur of Gids neemt vooraf contact met u op om de exacte ophaalgegevens te bevestigen.

The tour guide was very kind and informative, Abderriham Didi did a great job of showcasing the region and culture and the driver Abdeslam delivered us to the various activities safely and comfortably. One thing to note was even though I booked the talamrout summit tour, I was instead taken on a different itinerary that included camel riding and a visit to an argan oil cooperative, followed by a much shorter “hike” than the one I booked. This change was not communicated to me in any official capacity, I only found out after the bus had left Marrakech when the itinerary provided by the guide didn’t match what I had booked. When I inquired, I was told there was poor weather, even though it was a beautiful day in Imlil when we visited later in the day. To be clear, this is nothing against the guide, Abderriham was fantastic and helped me make the most of the day. However, I was disappointed by the way the itinerary was changed with zero communication. As nice as the activities on the alternate tour were, I booked the trip because I was looking for a proper day of hiking in the Atlas Mountains, and I ended up leaving Morocco without getting the main experience that I travelled here for.

This trip started quite stressful as we were not collected by the tour company. After repeated phone calls with help from our hotel and 1 hour and 30 mins late we were picked up by a taxi and taken to the Atlas Mountains where we had a private tour with a wonderful guide called Omar. I am pleased that the tour company recognized their mistake and sorted out this option as it was the best tour we went on in Marrakesh. Passing through the most scenic snow capped views and across valleys with villages dotted around, Omar, the guide was professional and supportive when crossing tricky areas or slippery climbs (it had snowed the previous day) I plan to come back again to climb here and will ask for Omar. Lunch was included and was sumptuous and Salma was a friendly and warm hostess at the restaurant.
