A truly memorable experience. While the hotel pickup was very early, the entire trip and experience was flawlessly organized. Lifting off in the balloon just before dawn and taking in the amazing views from above- it was magical. I highly recommend this outfit who delivered one of the highlights during our time in Marrakech.
This hot air balloon experience was absolutely spectacular — 10 out of 10! Everything was exceptionally well organized from start to finish. The staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind, and we felt safe throughout the entire experience. The views were breathtaking and unlike anything we’ve ever seen. Our pilot, Othman’s, was entertaining, engaging, and kept everyone smiling throughout the flight. He made the experience even more memorable, and honestly, everyone involved was fabulous. This was, without question, the best experience of our entire trip. It was peaceful, beautiful, and incredibly special. We would absolutely do it again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech. A truly unforgettable experience!
I booked the balloon flight with my husband for our 40th anniversary. I had done it before a couple of times elsewhere and really enjoyed it. We got to the site and had some tea, then were told to come out to the balloon. The ad said 18 people maximum, but over 20 were already on board. Four compartments had 6 people, and there was one compartment with three VERY large people in it. We were told to get into that compartment. There simply wasn’t room for us both. Two other balloons seemed to possibly have more room, but I was told I needed to get into that compartment. I was not offered any other choice. I told my husband to go and that I would stay because it just didn’t feel comfortable or safe squashed in so tightly. No one from the company said a word to me, and I didn’t get loud or aggravated because I didn’t want to ruin anyone else’s trip. My husband went up while I stayed on the ground and took pictures. The food was mediocre at best. It was mostly carbs and some fruit. I had one olive, a small pancake with honey, and a bottle of water. Worst booking ever and no refund. Book with the company directly (I would avoid Marrakech Dream Ballooning), and make SURE that you will have room for everyone (the compartments seem to be designed for 4 people, maybe 5 smaller adults.

It is with reluctance that I’m writing a negative review, but I booked this trip and didn’t get to do the hot air balloon experience. I hadn’t heard from the company, so I contacted them to confirm my hotel pick up details (despite me providing these at the time of booking). After many calls, I actually got to ‘speak’ to someone. Due to the language barrier, I didn’t understand what they were saying. I called back. The call was answered and then the person hung up, so didn’tget to speak with anyone. I got someone from my hotel to call them and thankfully, they answered the call (probably because it was a local number showing on their phone screen). I was told that I would receive a message later on that day (9th June), which I did, by WhatsApp. Disappointingly, the message stated that the flight on 10th June was cancelled by order of the local authorities - which could mean anything. I was given the opportunity to re-book but I was leaving the following day. This didn’t ruin my holiday as I had a fantastic time in Marrakesh, but I was disappointed. Positively, they were quick to give me my money back.

Wonderful experience and one we will never forget. Picked up from our hotel, on time and delivered to the site. Looked after superbly throughout the trip and felt safe at all times. Flight itself was magical and I’d recommend having the drone footage that gets offered. Morning finished with traditional breakfast before being dropped back off. 10/10
I was a little nervous with this online booking but I did not need to be, the trip was organised flawlessly, pick up was not an issue and the balloon trip was a great experience followed by a traditional Berber breakfast, I highly recommend booking your balloon flight with Marrakesh Dream Ballooning.
Early start but everything works smoothly. Easy pick up process, not a long drive and all is as per the online photos. Not as scary as I thought it might be. We also did the drone footage addition and the video clips looks pretty cool. Once in lifetime experience, worth doing. traditional breakfast afterwards was amazing and v nice gentleman hosting breakfast and tea was very friendly and funny and included everyone and made us all feel welcome 🙏 met loads of new people and got to know them over food and drives. Our adventure started perfectly, with a very early hotel pickup. Everything went smoothly, and the driver got us to the desert quickly. Upon arrival, we were taken to a traditional room where we were served coffee, tea, and some light refreshments before setting off on the adventure of a lifetime. We were slightly concerned that we might miss the sunrise because our balloon was the last to take off. However, everything happened very quickly, and before we knew it, we were soaring through the air. Even if you're afraid of heights, there's absolutely no need to worry. The takeoff is incredibly smooth, and once you're up there, it feels as though you're simply floating. Surrounded by such breathtaking beauty, any fears quickly disappear. The experience is wonderfully peaceful (unless you happen to have a family nearby filming TikTok videos throughout the flight!). Watching the sunrise and seeing the other balloons drifting across the sky creates a truly magical atmosphere. Even the landing was expertly handled—we barely felt it. A team of at least a dozen people was waiting for us on the ground to assist. After the flight, we were taken back to the traditional room where a delicious Moroccan breakfast was served. Our driver then took us all the way back to the hotel. Before I forget, they also offer drone videos for 300 Moroccan dirhams. I would highly recommend purchasing it. The footage looks absolutely amazing, so stunning that it almost appears unreal. I have no negative comments about the entire experience and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. Thank you to everyone involved in making this adventure so memorable and ensuring that everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
It was a great experience, well organized, and the early wake-up was more than worth it. The breakfast was good and everyone was super friendly. Highly recommended.
The Baloon ride itself was very good, we had an excellent pilot who was very professional and made us feel safe. The communication from the company regarding pick up and transfer was awful and we did not know until the night before what was going on. Not ideal when you are trying to plan a short trip.
