Wandeling van een hele dag naar het Humantay-meer

Wandel om het geweldige uitzicht vanaf het Humantay-meer te vinden, dat magisch is omdat je een weelderige groene Andes-vallei, de Humantay-gletsjer en de Salkantay-berg in de verte kunt zien. Dit programma nodigt je uit om het Humantay-meer te leren kennen tijdens een dagexcursie met een korte wandeling vergezeld door een indrukwekkend landschap van bergen.

Onze excursie begint met het ophalen van uw hotel van 04:30 uur tot 05:00 uur. Daarna vervolgen we onze reis in een privévervoer naar de stad Mollepata, beroemd om de avocadoproductie in het gebied. Zodra we daar aankomen, zullen we een heerlijk ontbijt hebben en dan doorgaan naar het Soraypampa-basiskamp (3900 m.a.s.l / 17.960 ft), vanwaar de wandeling ongeveer een uur en 45 minuten begint om het Humantay-meer te bereiken, omgeven door gletsjers. Wanneer we Humantay bereiken, zullen we genieten van de prachtige turquoise lagune. Daar maak je de mooiste foto's. Daarna dalen we af naar Soraypampa om later in de middag te lunchen en keren we terug naar Cusco met ons privévervoer.

We had Luz leading our hike and she was amazing. She made sure everyone in the group was comfortable, checking in with us on the ride there, and staying with us to encourage us throughout the hard hike. She was the best!!
Luz was our guide for the day and she was great! Helped motivate the group for the hike and made sure we were well prepared. Would do another hike or activity lead by her!

Loved this, but it is very challenging! I am not an experienced hiker but am very in shape and former college basketball player. You do have the option to ride a horse/mule up to the top though. The view is worth it. The tour was great and good value for your money, with breakfast and lunch included at a buffet that was excellent. Our tour guide, Luz, did a great job and explained everything about the lake to us. Would recommend to others

I did a hike through Humantay lake with Judith! It was well organized, positive, and a great experience. Judith is knowledgeable about the site & trail. Also, Judith was so motivating and positive. It was great because this was a very challenging hike and having someone there to set a pace and support our group was wonderful. It was one of my favorite parts on my trip of Peru! Judith also took beautiful photos on our phones for us.
